Have 90 cc would not start or turn over so bypassed the selonid pole to pole and jumped it off started up ran it for thirty mins ran good and revealed up nice no misses then got on put it in reverse and gave it some gas and it stalled out now will not crank back has no fire what so ever ordered a new coil and cdi box and senloid ,new spark plug do u think that will fix it it is my grand son's and is really on me to get it running again also have green wire loose at the battery do u know wherein goes someone please help??
Check the kill switch plug. Make sure the wires are leading to the same things from the old one. Then see if the back Saftey switch is open loop or closed loop. If that’s all correct I would say the Cdi box would be wrong or bad. Check the harness wires and see if they are the same as the original one. If so the cdi is bad. I’ve had new one be bad. Chinese parts like these are super cheap made and made with bad parts some times. When right that thing will make a nice spark with a loud arc snap sound when it sparks.
The two pin wire connector at the rear next to the three pin connector is for a emergency kill switch, at present there isn't one connected to it so this will be causing an open circuit hence no spark at the plug
It's been to cold for me to work on it. I'm think the stator sensor is too far from the flywheel and needs adjusted. There's another youtuber that shows it. Check him out. He also tried 2 brand new wiring harnesses before he solved it
@@thebrothers4311 yup ! That’s what it is , funny because I returned a wiring harness before because of this problem thinking it was faulty , I suggest you go try it , it takes 5 mins
I'm going to send it back to Amazon and buy a different one. This one had to many connections that I had to wire together manually. I'm going to get the plug and play option
@@thebrothers4311hey I’m having the same issue and I got the same harness with too many coil connectors, can u send me the link to the wire harness you re ordered the plug n play 6 pin stator coil?
Thank you man that was a great help I appreciate it
It's the stater inside the cover where the wire goes into the side case. I just had to fix the exact same 4 wheeler with the exact same problem 😂
Are you referring to the wires that go inside the motor box
@@jcurry37 yeah aka crank case, side plate, or as I said side case putting the two together..... But never motor box 🤣
Did you figure it out I did same to mine replace everything new still no spark

Which CDI box do I need to use on a 150cc ,gy7 engine
Hi I’m having the same issue , can u send me the link of the wire harness with the plug n play 6 coil stator ?
Did you end up fixing this ?
Same brother no idea why I don’t have spark
You need to ground the brake light safety switch
Could be the ground Does it look like the other one has a ground Nfl just run a grown wire Put it on the bolt
Old school way

Man what mine was doing the same thing but I went ahead and installed the plug and it fired right up
You have sister's here too bro, lol 🙂👍🏻
Haha, thanks for pointing that out 🤣

I've seen a few other video and they don't need to have that 2-pin connected to get spark
I have the same problem , we’re you able to fix it , both of my new wiring harness won’t give spark , I’m thinking it’s a safety

Bad cdi box had the same problem that fixed it
I've tried 3 cdi boxes, not the issue
I think the stator sensor is to far away from the magneto spinning. I need to adjust it but haven't had time. Another youtuber pointed this out
It's your kill switch
Cut it off at your cdi your kill switch
I believe it has an open ceirt to start
Having the same problem
I have a different wiring harness on order. Supposedly the updated model. I'll post a video if that works
Bad coil

Man put it in neutral run a couple steps get on and pop it into first gear start rt up
It's a 50cc kids atv... there is no neutral, reverse, 1st, 2nd or third... besides, with no spark it ain't gonna fire up
