    being an old ford nut brought a zf back in 89 spent ten grand on rebuilt it from front to back turned heads drove it for eight years i love it....thats a lump stick wont like idle at traffic lights.sounding tough..nice looking zg great work thumbs up

    nice car, that lumpy idle is insane. I might be inclined to hacksaw off the overhang on the rear shackle u bolts. Can cause trouble if they snag something. Well done.

    Nice ride mate.
    I'm in Western Australia have a 74' ZG.
    Owned a 72' ZF in the 90's
    Great cars.

      You'd be surprised that being such a big car they aren't that heavy compared to modern cars.

    pull the 302 crank and rods and put the 351 crank and rods in, it will be a lot more fun :)

      Not a bad plan Andries, but if I was going to do anything I'd go probably go for a 393 Stroker, and convert to a manual gearbox. It's just a weekend cruiser for the time being.

      @@aidanrooney4375 yes definitely if you have the pocket for a stroker kit definitely go for it. Just make sure to post it on CZcams because I want to hear that beast run💪😁
