So, originally, I had a set plan for my 50K video. But I realized that since I have a huge platform I'd use that to advocate for something I feel really strong about, and help raise awareness for sexual assault survivors. I didn't realize how hard this was going to be for me, and it brought up a lot of memories I'd rather not remember, but it also helped in a way to vent about them.

This is truly amazing, and I loved the fact that u generalized all the rape thing, bc it shows that Cheryl is a representation/example of what a lot of women live everyday, and I think it's important to spread awareness like you did with this video, honestly this is perfect !!
I've seen many videos where people celebrate some amount of subscribers and those vids are most of the time some kind o humorous or cheerful ones. But you took the opportunity and decided to talk about such an important matter and did it so well as usual. I don't know you personally but I'm sure that you are a beautiful soul because I believe that when you do things so well and so beautiful you have something very good inside.
This is great and you should be so proud. Just over a year ago I was in a bad situation with a boy and I was sexually assaulted but I was lucky to get out before anything got too bad but that’s the scariest things and he just kept saying I was overreacting and that it was okay but I had kissed him before in the past and I felt like I had done something wrong. I can relate to Cheryl and I’m glad that videos like this and people speaking their truth can help other boys and girls feel more comfortable talking about these things and people can love and support them

Wow, Lauren. Till date, I have admired your beautiful work, but now I admire you for the person you are. You have used a popular character to highlight an issue so many of us would rather not address. I come from a country with probably the highest index of women sexually assaulted per minute, a blood chilling statistic indeed. As you said, I'm pretty sure there are many of us who have memories we'd rather not talk about, and that includes me too. We have been conditioned so that it feels like we had been the ones who had been defiled whereas the only person who is actually rotten and defiled is the person who commits such acts. And yes, I do sympathise with Cheryl in that even her family is not beside her. Trust me, it's all too real. Heck, sometimes, it's family itself that's culpable.

Personally, I want to say thank you for this video. Riverdale handling of this was not just disappointing, it was insulting. It was nice yeah, to see him beat up, be beat at his own game by Veronica, but that’s not how a show with a Riverdale’s kind of audience should’ve handled that. They should have used that to send him to jail, even if that rarely happens in real life, and even if it’s a horrible process, putting that idealism forward would have helped a lot of people (and honestly it would’ve helped me). Everything from the facts to how you edited the scenes were heartbreaking and masterful. Go awf.
