    I think a single 14mm would be a better daily driver option than any dual pump setup as keeping things simple always seems the best in the long run.

    Would a fleece powerflo be okay for dual stock s&s supersport cp3's with 200% and really conservative tuning? It's what I have with my VP truck that I am going to convert to 6.7CR. Idle sits ~16-16.5, 15 cruise, and no less than 14 no matter how long I stand on it with Quadzilla Adrenaline V2 maxed out tuning. I'm going to go to a 6.7CR with garrett compounds G42 73/91-82/75 1.01 T4 with steed speed T4 turbosmart 45mm high psi gating into G55 106/144-112/106 1.24 v-band inlet. I'm going for the most hp I can as clean as possible. Fully built girlded small cam milled intake shelf with stock replacement shelf. Or do you think I shoukd go with 250-300% injectors and have even shorter duration?

    Josh, any advice for quieting down the gear lash noise from an S&S CP3 conversion for a '19? I did the no tune pump and it's noisy as hell. I just pulled it out the other day and phased it to engine TDC and double checked bolt torque values but it's still clattering under light loads and when letting off the throttle. S&S says it ain't causing harm and the truck does run great, it's just annoying and borderline embarrassing. Thanks again for another informative video. 👍

  • @b2hibry
    @b2hibry Před 2 lety +3

    CP3 have come a long way for sure! You mentioned mixing pump sizes and one thing I've discovered is... DON'T! Unless you can live with an annoying surge. And on the leaking rail pressure sensor, it's a manufacturing tolerance issue. Believe it or not, they are supposed to be a one-time torque item. I didn't know that until I chased my ass for months on a leak.

    • @horsetorquesdiesel

    I called DDP about remanufacturing my pumps and what options I have. I was told they dont make pumps. They have an outside vender with their branding.

    With the increased flow of the CP3, do you increase the line size from the tank? I have noticed a difference in performance from the airdog, drawing from the top of the tank as the tank level lowers. I can only imagine if I increased output it would be even worse.

      Your issue is the draw straw. If the factory sump cup is damaged or the straw that happens more commonly known as the 'quarter tank issue'. You can either take it apart and insure its all good or drill a hole in the bottom of the tank and install a sump.
