HELICAM Behind the scenes 1990
This is the first and genuine HELICAM from Germany, build in 1989.
The Trademark HELICAM - Flying Camera Systems was official registrated in 1990, so all of the later "so called" Helicams are using the name without any permission.
The HELICAM was custom made of parts by Graupner, Heim, Webra and Robbe. The founders build up to 8 helicopters, all with rotor diameter of aprox 1,50m and weight of aprox 10kg. The used 16mm Beaulieu cams and also custom rebuild 35mm russian cams - all with video tap and wireless video transmission via 2,4 Ghz analog custom made (!) systems by a company called Selectronic.
The helicopters does not have any flight assistant or auto pilot like the todays drones.
