Mimi's left hand seems to be a never drying well of colorfull chords, all of them linked in the most beautyfull way. Everytime I start thinking "wow, that was a great one!" she already has played a bunch of new chords that shine even brighter. Composers squeeze their brains for hours to come up with voice leadings half as good as what Mimi improvises from the scratch, even while talking.

Chords leading make me start guitar few years ago (12years) and now the journey brings me here. But 12 years ago i wasnt able to imagine of how this instrument will change my life or carry over the difficulty of it. At the beggining it make me mad of how its hard but after maybe 3 years of learning i was falling in love with this process of learning, like a therapy for me. Thanks for this lesson

Great stuff. Mimi is so under-rated and has a technique that's definitely in Joe Pass territory. She's certainly one of the best jazz guitarists of any gender.
