Make fish farm, it gives bones or bonemeal I forget Which one, but with a good one you can get a lot of bonemeal, and I know you need that

for bonemeal you have 3 options :
1_ moss farm
2_general mob farm
3_wither skeleton farm ( a big one)
but.. autocrafting no vanilla and break down bones long time

This was a wonderful convoluted amazing set of builds. I loved how all the food farms were only enough for like 15 minutes. The video came out amazing. You can really tell all the work you put in.

First off, great video!
Second, a tip: render distance doesn't impact mob spawning anymore; it's your simulation distance that controls mob spawning. See, in 1.18, Mojang wanted to allow people to see really far while having good rates on their mob farms. So they added simulation distance, which is render distance for entities/mobs. Hope that helps!
No it was for better framerate for people on low-end PC's (I think not 100% sure)

Hey Brock, a quick suggestion is you should've built ianxofours' wither skeleton farm. It requires no spawn proofing, and takes about 1 hour to build. It is also more efficient.
Just so you know, a moss farm is a great way to get bonemeal and moss for builds, and they are decently simple! Keep it up

To get a lot of bonemeal you can find a skeleton spawner, then build a skeleton farm, and convert every stack of bone into three stack of bonemeal.

me: you could have saved 21 hours by chopping trees.
He has to go out for nine hours anyways now to kill skeletons just to fuel the tree farm with enough bone meal. Lmao

or save the whole 30 hours and just duplicate the logs. If he already duplicates blocks in the process then that’s still cheating but he won’t waste that much time

This just feels like a microcosm of all mod packs with some kind of quest progression. "You are stuck on a block in the sky. To escape, you need a ladder. To craft a ladder, you need the ability to conjure six billion units of cooked pork and gunpowder out of thin air."
You can make a moss farm for the bonemeal. It uses bonemeal too, but it produces more bonemeal then it uses.

A lot of people don’t understand how much work goes into these video, but tons of work and hours have clearly been put into this. Your style of gameplay and editing is just unparalleled to anyone else’s. Keep up the good work!
Also for the bonemeal farm you could probably build a general mob farm and use the skeletons bones, it’s worked for me before but it might not work for the amount of bone meal you need.
skele farm probably be good but its not self sustaining at some point u will have to go through the trouble to just stopping and re filling the chest...so best bet is to make a fast moss bone meal farm which gives 10k/bone meal per hour rates😊
One thing this has shown me is as a relatively new Minecraft player (been playing since mid April 2022) is that I really have to learn more of these farms and how to do stuff with redstone. I've got a lot of learning to do.

solution to bonemeals: build moss bonemeal farm, flower farm, and auto fish farm(not fishing), all these produces bonemeal
Well, I would build a Moss-Bonemeal-Farm, because in my Hardcore World it feeds me with a unlimited supply of Bonemeal, which I use to create Boneblocks to create a Mega Enderdragonskellet.
this video was purely amazing. And also the fact that it was compiled into a highly entertaining 15 min video with small jokes and an understandable timeline, just perfect.

12:42 you should consider a moss farm. they're very efficient, they scale well, and have an insane bone meal output. that or your bones from your wither skeleton farm
I'm not sure if this will help but u could use the bones from the wither farm to supply it and u could always expand the other farms because their some what simple to build
I just love that all these farms come together to not even work for the farm u wanted to power lol
The amount of side quests taken on in this video is insane, but thats the way minecraft is sometimes lol
To get more bone meal you could expand the farms very much so that there is more bonemeal and more bonemeal equals more logs
You can use the wither skelly farm for bones and turn those into bonemeal

You could make a massive moss farm using a stone generator and bonemealing moss. You can break the moss with piston or tnt (should use pistons to make sure no items are lost). Then just funnel it all into a multitude of composters to get your bonemeal. Impulse on hermitcraft season 8 did a moss farm on a HUGE scale. You can use that for reference.

Okay, not what you intended with the wither farm, but the stone slabs on all the surfaces looked exactly like piled up ash, which works so well with the pixelated ash falls in the Nether. I immediately thought of making a really inhospitable volcano area in my Nether and covering a lot of the area in slabs to make it look caked in ash.

i like the item transport idea, i did something similar but with minecarts occasionally looping around to all the collection points before unloading everything into my auto sorting machine

Build a moss farm! Produces a ton of bonemeal. Either that, or have a few more composters to speed it up. I think the issue is just having two composters, they’re not able to work as fast as the items coming in.
Easy way: 9 Hours tree chopping
Hard way: 30 Hours building random things to get wood

And because of that problem in the beginning with traveling 3000 blocks I ALWAYS keep at least a stack obsidian, an unbreaking 3 mending flint and steel and a few ender pearls in a red shulker box labeled "private stuff" in my inventory, alongside with shulkers labeled "RocketsV1" (duration 1 rockets for short distances around my base) and "RocketsV3" (duration 3 rockets for long distance travel on the nether roof or to my ocean farms in the overworld). First, to avoid ever getting stuck or lost on the nether roof, and second to not having to do what you just did :-D great video, I also needed a wood farm and this tutorial made me realize which ones I still need to build before that.
as some others said, build a moss farm for bonemeal, it may be a bit tough but you can just use the litematica mod and build it layer by layer if that makes it any easier than just following a tutorial

There are tons of miniature auto bamboo farms, you could make a tiny farm close enough to the bone meal converter. I have a hardcore world of my own and I use a bamboo farm to power my furnaces. I’ve gotten so much bamboo my machines overflowing. They’re great farms
get a self sufficient moss farm going, then you can have a continuous stream of bone meal for your tree farm
This pretty much sums up my ADHD when it comes to doing anything. Starting one tasks always leads to starting another
if you keep exploring the caves you're bound to find a skeleton spawner dungoen, probably make a fully automated super efficient farm for em and you got yourself a whole lot of bonemeal
