Have a nice Husqvarna saw and a big huge Stihl. I’d love to have one of those 16” Makita battery saws over dealing with those two when I need a saw. Maybe just me. Don’t use a saw that often-we don’t do much firewood. So it’s for around the yard stuff and emergencies and hunting a camping. The electric would work better for me.

I got a new Electric 8 ton Power House for 91 dollars> No more engine power tools for me I'AM DONE WITH THEM. I went to CORD ELECTRIC TOOLS Even the electric log splitters/ Reason i went to a vertical horizon log splitter is? SAVE MY BACK LIFTING👍 Electric cord power tools are? Cheaper, lighter, more dependable. Want to go off grid? Get a 2k generator for them

We mostly use Milwaukee battery/electric tools including weed whackers and now the log splitter. We've used it a few times and it does an amazing job!

@@WanderingWagners Some of the battery pack tools does impress me. But there pricy and more heavy / So i just stay with the cords. Plus i don't go buy brand names. There a lot of unknown brands, just as good as brand names

How sweet. Mike is being a good house husband while Lynn is working 80+ hours a week - and while she is sleeping during the day, he is also buying toys in hopes that she won’t notice.

The Wen 6.5-ton log splitter is a waste of money. All the videos I have seen all are splitting “straight grain wood”. Come on really? Most all the wood I get for free is Not Straight Grain Wood! The last load of wood that I split with my Wen 6.5-ton splitter was sycamore 10 to 15” rounds. Both the wings broke off the log cradle and the oil started to leak out the back handle. The frame that supports the splitter kept leaning over and fell over numerus times. Even on a concrete pad or driveway the unit was very unstable. The two arms that pull the log into the wedge, bend, cutting down the power to do the split. In the Real World this splitter is not worth the money.

We've had 0 issues for any kind of wood. It cuts through knotty wood without issues. Even much bigger logs than they say to use on this splitter. We use it a few times a year and it's been amazing.

You laugh about keeping kids, pets and adults away from the log splitter. Wait until one of the logs explodes or splits and shoots out a piece of log at LEGAL FORCE. ☠☠ You want be laughing
