Thank you for sharing your stories!! Never forget ✊
It saddens me to think that one day we will not have any holocaust survivors that will tell their stories. It is important that our children, grandchildren and their children never forget what happened.
What a question, how do remember this so well. How could they forget? God bless them!
@@raywombat, holocaust denier are you? Thank goodness for these people.

It is horrible what these people where put through. I am so glad that they are still here to share the knowledge of food and we will never forget them ❤️
What about when the Hebrew Israelites from the tribe of Judah whom went into slavery for 400-500 years plus? Their dependents are still alive.

Thank you for your willingness to share your stories. I have met men and women surviving the holocaust that don't want to talk about.👏👏👏
Beautiful piece. Thank you!

My sixth grade public school teacher posted some newspaper photo clippings of the evil on a cork-board in our classroom. It wasn’t yet 20 years since the atrocities.
I hope to get that cookbook. How about sharing it’s title?
The title is mentioned in the story.
The title is “Honey Cake and Latkes: Recipes from the Old World,” time stamp 4:26.

We Will Never Forget.
It's so important that this (and other autrocities in our history) continues to be talked about. There are people who actually believe that you can just not discuss or teach about these events, and they'll just go away. That's not how it works. Revisionist history is dangerous! 💯
Why?
Or they deny it happened, equally dangerous.
@@tayler7441 Agreed. Both are really bad and have no place in our society. 💯
how do you remember the details so well good question!!
Never forget!
So, where can one download it?
If you read this I hope you have a wonderful start to your weekend ❤️
Sad but great job with the video/story.
Thank You, Jesus! Look at God🙌🏾 Their stories will live on✊🏽 I pray a tragedy of that scale is never endured again. Please, Lord🙏🏾
Shabbat Shalom!

When I was in JR High school.. world History class took me there. A child doesn't deserve to see this is a big trauma.. ..I have Jewish in my genes thanks to my maternal grandmother.. with pride. ..I was told last year. .. no wonder I felt connected.

YUK!
Dang it is so rare to find survivors but seems like ever news network has 2-4 lined up for this every year. Best not think about that.
Best to keep your mental illness to yourself.
It’s not rare enough that it’s hard to find them, not yet. It’s only been 78 years since WWII ended and the majority of survivors were young adults or children, so they’d be elderly but not so elderly that it’d be unheard of to see them.
@@flowerfaerie8931 when do I start worrying then?
@@raywombat I mean I don’t think you should worry about it. Nothing bad will happen when they die, and we already have massive archives of information from them.
@@flowerfaerie8931 ok that makes sense. Thanks 🙏
my favorite Jewish cook book was written in 1944 by the Germans...
That's disgusting. Reporting your comment.

It is remarkable that people like MTG deny the holocaust even though it was so recent. On a personal note, I am currently living in Syria. People around me are starving on a regular basis. For the first time in my 45 years on this earth, I understood why food is such an overwhelming element in our dignity as humans. I learned to never take a meal for granted!!

MTG did not deny the Holocaust.
She made dumb analogies about it that right wingers were about to suffer the same fate which offended many Jews.
She apologized to the community unlike Ilhan Omar or Rashida Tlaib.

Extermination camps
Not concentration camps
