Wonderfully suggestive way to notate the music so freely, especially in the first movement. Those typical French ornaments on almost every note make me feel kinda dizzy, but I love it! Also the rhythmical freedom of the interpretation, this constant playing both hands not together. The whole piece seems very modern to me despite its age. And what a beautiful rich and colorful instrument in non equal temperament!
Let's see, the middle-line F clef is baritone clef and the bottom line C clef is... soprano clef??
That's what I saw as well.
Does anyone know what temperament is used in this performance?
Most probably 1/4 comma meantone
Is this Elisabeth's actual manuscript?
Hay algunas partes en las que suenan mal(toco el piano) se debe al temperamento? Me pasa en la allemanda mas que nada...
