so glad matt reeves is doing batman.
Yeah, he has the right kind of style for it
Yeah, I think he is by far the best director hired by the DCEU. Also the cast for the new Batman movie looks great too.
@@amanshukla8758 the batman movie isn't part of the dceu dude
Edit: DID Batman
this aged so so well
VFX have reached a new zenith with War for the Planet of the Apes. My brain actively refuses to believe those apes are digital skin put on mo-cap actors.
weird thing is, no movie even comes close to this movie. its mostly crap. i dont understand
@@BaronVonBielski Well, every David Fincher movie has a lot of VFX in it, it's not 90% of the movie like with the Apes movies, but you can not say what is VFX and what isn't in Finchers case (except for otherwise impossible shots)
Why isn't this movie getting more money? It is, without a doubt, one of the best looking movie ever made, and on top of that, there is a huge use of CG to accomplish that look, which would have been a drawback if it had not been done properly. This movie did it flawlessly. Come on, people. Open your eyes!
Ceaser is passive in the film and doesn't take action until almost at the end. So the movie feels kinda bogged down otherwise it plays out like a great epic
I think people expected it to have a lot of action in it since it would be the last movie for a while but Matt reeves focuses more on story and cinematography
One of the best trilogies ever. This is definitely one of the best movies of 2017, probably right at the top.
Oscar worthy. At least one. Pick any category you want. It belongs to pretty much all of them.
A better trilogy than Star Wars sequel trilogy
Yeah Batman is in good hands
Oh yeah
Well, let’s fuckin’ go!
Yep
101%
Cuz He's vengeance.
Just realized that Matt Reeves also directed Cloverfield
Hes also directing the new batman.
3:45 "as a kid, I really wanted to be an ape." - Matt Reeves
"I also wanted to be a bat"
Matt Reeves
so why this movie so damn great they got each had talented people, the director, the people from WETA, the mocap actor, the music composition and many more .. at the end of the movie.. it make me tear a bit... im soooooo agreed this is one of the best trilogy in decade...
Every word that comes out of this man's mouth you are immediately invested in what he has to say
I'm excited for The Batman....
Same
It was incredible.
I really like this new segment.
This is making me get the feels, I miss the movie already.
Weta deserves an Oscar for this film.
This is crazy real 2:09
Can't wait to see this guys batman interviews and breakdowns
I love stuff like this. Thank you!
"As a kid I really wanted to be an ape."
I'm pleased to tell you that, technically, you are.
i'm exited to see it
This is amazing stuff.
Can’t wait for The Batman
I still don't get why these movies weren't released in actual 4K on Blu-Ray. Such a shame. Also there is no good collector's Edition.
I want the Ceaser bust again, including the new trilogy in all versions. ACTUAL 4K HDR, 3D and on regular Blu-Ray. This isn't that hard ppl...
(The 4K discs only have 2K material on them, although they were shot on 35mm (1&2) and in 6,5K (3).)
Magical!
Men the orangutan is just perfect, i remember first time seeing it, and i was thinking is real, but after i realised that they would never let the child actor near a real orangutan lol.
He more like a fun guy to directing The Batman
The movie looks dark, though. It's good though, cause it's Batman.
I’m SO EXCITED FOR KINGDOM!!
If you enjoyed this video and want to know about the VFX and how the apes and environment were created, watch this insane video about it:

It's like I know for a fact Maurice is not a real ape, yet my eyes and brain cannot tell at all. It's almost more believable that they just trained a real ape to act in the movie.
Matt reevez Movie 👍
Wait did he wear the same clothes for three years lol. Compare it with the batman panel.
I think it’s a different pair of those clothes
Similar style.

just a suggestion..you should mention spoilers before revealing such stuff..
Chirag Ojha or maybe you should watch the movie before watching a breakdown of it?

Lmao why is the director, who probably can't navigate a computer telling us about the vfx that he obviously knows nothing about? Bring in some of the compositors and animators.
merp derp shut up
No ,You are wrong.Wait for batman 2022
Other than Corridor, VFX artists making movies without the aid of Directors, Screenwriters, Cinematographers, or editors. I don't see it.
