Sonny's description of the stinky tofu is ABSOLUTELY EPIC. He alluded to the gas quality + toenail stench, in such an honest, innocent manner, like a sweet little child, that you can't help but like him.
When he said best possible way....all i could imagine was a fart that came after you had whole lot of Texas style barbecue and brisket with a side of mashed potatoes and fried mushrooms, some falafel and shuwarma with fresh mint and cucumber salad and dogh and a whole southern fried chicken with hash browns....and a large soda to wash it all down and a nice scoop of mango, strawberry, gum arabic and pistachio ice cream topped with some roasted almonds, pecans and gold foil pieces....hmmmm....an extremely delicious meal might produce a fart worthy if this comment....

Andrew is great with food that appears disgusting, but tastes fine, but he doesnt have true multicultural taste buds like you do Sonny! I used to watch Andrew Zimmer food show , and frankly I enjoyed it. However once I started watching your show all other shows paled in comparison.Sonny , you have taken this show to a whole different level. Your sense of humor , your funny comments and the faces that you make have made me smile even in the face of a most heartbreaking event in my life. Don’t ever change , your open hearted approach and your willingness to experience food from different cultures , and your ability to make people comfortable adds a new dimension to your show. I have always loved Andrew. He was one of the first people to be honest on TV about food tasting like crap. And he did it in such a polite and funny way.

Zimmern tries to be a humble and open minded guy, instead, he often comes off as a pretentious and condescending goofball. You're more deserving of a show than he is. In fact what you're doing on CZcams is much more entertaining than anything he's done on the Travel Channel.

I think it's the sulphurous / savoury smell and taste. Zimmern seems especially averse to it. He couldn't even eat durian. Stinky tofu acceptability tends to be correlated with durian acceptability.
I was wanted to try, since I saw Andrew and You tried, so I bought a package from an Asian Grocery store, but the smell was soooooooo strong through the package, I had to put it back in the fridge. Bless everyone who can eat this thing & I'll take your words for it.
