Founding Fathers and Mothers

The founding fathers of the United States are a loosely defined group of men who lead the charge for American independence from the British crown in the late 1700s and helped draft foundational documents, such as the famous declaration of independence, 1783 Treaty of Paris, the United States Constitution, and the Federalist Papers.
