Ferris Wheel Press Carousel vs. Kaweco Perkeo

I've seen these two pens compared to each other several times, mostly in reference to the price difference and similarity in aesthetic, so I wanted to actually see what the differences are side by side.
Overall the two have many differences, particularly in how smoothly and consistently they write, the quality of the manufacturing, and the colours available. Ironically, I find that the cheaper of the two (the Perkeo at 17$ USD) writes smoother and seems to have higher quality construction. However, the Carousel (at ~30$ USD) comes in far more attractive colours and has incredible packaging that you won't want to throw away.
