It turns out the 2 American cars were a Chevy Impala convertible and a Mercury Monarch (1949).
I also discovered that the fire engine ladder extends. It's a proper high reach one.

The Stobart container was Tesco branding as Stobart had, or maybe still do, had/have a contract with Tesco and Stobart Rail had a train as well as the lorries. This was seen on the Channel 5 series a few years ago about Stobart/Eddie Stobart. The fire engine was similar to the Dinky AEC Merryweather which I used to have. Yours is also an AEC
