She used some makeup styles that are popular in Asian countries. Underlining lips to make them look like a 'blossoming flower.' Highlight under eye bags to look 'cute.' No contour and minimal blush to look 'fresh.'

The eyebrows looked nice. She seemed really gentle. If she took the time to practice her craft and sanitation, before charging people, she might become a successful artist. (Side note: this video was super relaxing to watch. The music was a nice touch.)
You should definitely go back for a skin treatment!!!! Love the worst reviewed make up artist videos but it would also be really cool to see you do something different every now again i.e. worst reviewed facial, or hair styling 💖💖💖

I think she gave you Korean girl style makeup lol especially with the underlined glossy lip and how she did under your eyes. I forgot what they call it but basically make it look like your undereye is a lil puffy. I think it's a really cute style of makeup.

She did look like she had a gentle touch, which we don't see very often in the worst rated salons. The pressure point thing sounds appealing to me as I'm very sensitive to touch (which is why I adore massages!)
Not allowing her to thread the stray hairs under your brows was a very wise decision! 💕
I was losing the will to live watching her doing the one eye for so long omg I don’t know how you have the patience . I do makeup professionally and I just am mindblown at these makeup artists 😂

Do you think the makeup artist usually works on Asian clients? The style looks almost Korean and might explain the underlined lips. Also, the eye makeup is not too bad, it just doesn't fit your eye shape well, it is too narrow. Maybe she is used to working on different features. Overall, I don't hate it, I think you look very pretty at the end!
Yeah probably, she did look asian aswell i saw so maybe thats why she did a softer look. I love her sweater tho omfg

Same here! And I love it that she doesn't talk much throughout the application of makeup, she lets us enjoy and relax. Other channels just talk talk talk stopping and interrupting the process. Julia does it at the end and you can choose not to listen or do.

This was such a calming video, i zoned out and felt super relaxed. Then i opened my eyes and noticed the “phenomenal” job she did😅
She had no clue what she was doing. That’s why she kept hesitating. No vision; no final destination; just random colors, shapes, and brushes. I feel horrible for saying that, but she has no business charging people money to do their makeup. That would be like me charging someone to fix their car.
I 100% agree!!!! Gentle and relaxing doesn't make up for the fact that she's marketing herself as a make up professional, and clearly isn't!!!!

I don't think her idea of makeup was bad, it's just not so well executed and a video recreating those makeup ideas properly would be very interesting! 💞 I liked the colors
What in the Twilight vampire sparkle was the shiny dust she used under your brows and eyes?! This look was a disgrace to the brands she used 😭 the way she was patting the foundation into your face with her hands then resorted to vigorous rubbing had me cracking up!
All that beautiful expensive product...that first shadow she used was killer and she managed to make it look awful.😣😣😣 I give her a - 3.

I think she's trying to do the korean or chinese make ups where they out eyebags on them so their eyes look bigger and have depth because some of them do not have eyelids or has very small eyes 😂
When she started to create a crease through the CENTER of your eyelid, I knew it wasn't going to be great. I almost wonder if she does hair or nails regularly and the makeup artist called out today or something.
Though lacking technique, her style of makeup makes sense. She was clearly inspired by k-beauty.
She has amazing asmr in her way of working!! I love the ways she spread moisturizer and foundation! And she seems very sweet! Also the couple lines when she whispered!

Are these people for real? I wish they didn't say anything, instead of bragging about their inept work! She sounds nice but charging people for this type of service (€60???) is just wrong! The blush is so tres naturel that I personally can't see it, but it might be the lighting.

This makeup gives me some asia kpop vibes but it doesn't really fitto you, since you're def. not asian :D Maybe she tried the asian lip tint thing by underlining your lips. gives me a bit of that vibe at least. I like the eyebrows most. Big and small sisters :D

I think the MUA was very gentle, that was nice but I think the eye makeup was horrible. It looked like a child did it. She may have used expensive products but she had no clue how to use them.

honestly I don't use anything, I am just very lucky to still have eyebrow hair growing even after bleaching which is insane I don't know how - so sorry for not being any help, but I hear castor oil is good . xxxxx

I'd like to see you go to an actual MUA so people can compare what a professional service should look like, to these people who claim to be professionals. A lot of people in the comments think these things are reasonable and they are not AT ALL what you are paying for.

Maybe it’s because we’ve seen so much worse. But I think she did a decent job. The brows are good! I like the eyes, and except for the underlined lips and the fact that you would look like you are radiating light on stage, I think she did alright. The face is beautiful, yes she made you a twilight star, but she did a beautiful job at it! Lol

I remember an early video in which the MUA, although she knew in advance that Julia wanted to film the process, suddenly became hostile and told her she couldn't record anymore.
I always wonder how these MUAs don't get suspicious; I mean, they must watch YT and there's a real chance they could come across this type of content!

Its actually a good trick to wet your hands a TINY BIT if you're applying BB Cream or CC Cream with your fingers.
Yeah not good, just cause she was gentle and had high end makeup the experience and the products weren’t what you came for you came to have nicely applied makeup! With more practice she may get there but the look is a NO for me.
I really find the sound of the camera focusing to be distracting 😣
