I recently took a break from the hustle and bustle of city life to immerse myself in the stunning natural beauty of Aberdare Forest in Kenya. And let me tell you, it was pure magic!
Camping in the heart of the forest was an adventure like no other. The fresh air, the sound of the birds chirping, the smell of the earth - it was all so invigorating and rejuvenating.
But more than just enjoying the scenery, I took the time to practice mindfulness and self-love. I disconnected from the distractions of modern life and tuned in to my inner self. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of taking care of ourselves, not just physically but mentally and emotionally too.
So if you're feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or just need a break from the daily grind, I highly recommend getting out into nature and practicing mindfulness. Trust me, it's a game changer!
Remember, life is meant to be lived and enjoyed to the fullest. So let's go out there, explore, and make some unforgettable memories!

The park is located about 100 km north of Nairobi and stretches over a wide variety of terrain at altitudes from 2,000 metres (6,600 ft) to 4,000 metres (13,000 ft). The Aberdare National Park covers an area of 766 square kilometers and forms part of the Aberdare Mountain Range. The park contains a wide range of landscapes - from mountain peaks that rise to 4,000 metres (13,000 ft) above sea level, to their deep, v-shaped valleys intersected by streams, rivers, and waterfalls.

I am so excited to share my recent camping trip with you all! I escaped the city and headed to the stunning Aberdare Forest in Kenya, and let me tell you, it was a much-needed break.
The forest was breathtakingly beautiful, and it was amazing to just disconnect from the world and tune into nature. I woke up to the sound of birds chirping, breathed in the fresh forest air, and just took in all the natural beauty around me.
But, the real highlight of my trip was taking some time for myself to practice mindfulness and self-love. I've been going through a tough time lately, and being in the forest gave me the opportunity to focus on my mental and emotional well-being.
It was a powerful reminder that we all need to take a break from our daily lives and just focus on ourselves sometimes. We need to treat ourselves with kindness and love, and take care of our mental and emotional health just as much as our physical health.
So, if you're feeling overwhelmed or stressed out, take a break and connect with nature. Take some time to focus on yourself and just be in the present moment. Trust me, it's so worth it.

Which campsite is this in the aberdares?
Hey, I'm so sorry I tried looking for the name everywhere, but I can't seem to find it, but it's not too far from Reedbuck though. Perhaps if you give them a call they can give you more information.
I paid 600 to camp here as a resident, Because it's one of their "premium" camp spots. Though it doesn't have a bathroom. it's just nice because of the view.
