- This is the new Twisted Hobbys Pitts XL on a stock power combo on a 1550mah 4 cell battery pack. Extremely happy with the performance of this beast and the characteristics of how it flies on 4 cell and 3 cell! Check it out at : twistedhobbys.com/th-40-epp-c...

🤩🤩🤩🤩
Awesome!! As you tried 3S/4S (I assume with respectively 12X6/11x5,5), what was your feeling between the two? (I'm actually a very happy flyer of a Crack Yak XL on 4S, asking myself if on the Crack Pitts XL the 140g of a 3S1500 vs the 177g 4S1500 would make the plane more floaty or not so much for backyard flying!)
I definitely have tried both and prefer the 3S for the mere fact of it being a little bit more floaty. 4S is fun to show off the insane power it comes with, but I feel 3S is no slouch on power and provides plenty! The difference between the weight on those two honestly wouldn't be felt too much, now if you did step it down to around a 1500 3S you would definitely feel the effects of those two! I will agree that the Pitts since it is a little heavier does not mind the 4S as much. Glad you are happy with it!
@@ju52today Thank you for your advice!! I maidened the CPXL yesterday on 4S1500 (total weight 806g), and just tried it on a 3S1050 (total weight 722g, flying time 5min). I totally agree with you, while 4S is ballisticaly insane, such power is not really needed, flies fine and floaty on 3S, perfect for backyard, even in the wind!! (landing gear seems more suited for lighter setup too) RC Factory planes are just SO awesome....
congratulations for your videos. I've been following you for years and I love how you fly planes. Which model do you recommend to start a 3D flight? I'm from Argentina, good luck and thank you very much!
Thanks for the comment. The 32 inch Crack yak is a great plane to start 3d. The 32 inch Laser lite is a good plane too, These smaller 32 models are more durable to crashes. In you need a plane for wind the 39 inch Crack yak is another good one. Hope this helps with your choices.
