“As far as no f*cks given, he was probably number one.” ☝️ In this bonus clip, Chris Jericho and Lance Storm trade stories of Johnny K9 aka Bruiser Bedlam.
This show has been a gold mine for wrestling fans. Such amazing stories and background information. I love it. The more I watch it though, the more I'm reminded about a phrase I heard growing up "Kiddo, never meet your heroes."
That CAN be true. I once got to share a tabke with Harry Smith, Jim Neidhart and Bret fucking Hart. Jim and Harry weren’t hostile by any means but they were nowhere near as warm and just cool as Bret was. He told us stories, he laughed and even gave me a big hug at the end of the night, telling me I was a “good little worker”. The absolute highlight of a “career”. The context in which you meet your heroes is everything. IMHO.
It would’ve been so much easier to remember K9 fondly if he had just stuck with wrestling. From the stories shared about working at SMW for example just sounded like a genuinely nice and fun guy. But with the knowledge of his crime involvement just isn’t that easy.
Definitely. The stories seem cute and all, but they really outline his self-centred personality. He was the kind of guy who would do whatever he wanted regardless of how it affected other people. He was a prominent member of the criminal underworld in Canada, being the president of a Satan’s Choice Motorcycle club chapter and an enforcer for the United Nations gang. He was not a small time shoplifter. He was a piece of shit. His people were drug traffickers and cold-blooded killers. Nobody wants to talk about that, though.
I knew him personally from the biz. The very last time i saw him, he was riding with his crew in formation going east on the 403 outside of Hamilton. I juggled my way through traffic and rolled down my window and yelled Johnny, he yelled Krupoff. He pulled back to the back and shook my hand from his bike. We talked for a few minutes, as we were driving, pretty much yelling to each other and I showed him my baby son Marlon and he just said Awesome or something of that nature. Then we just shook hands again and said goodbye and take care. We held up traffic completely and could have caused an accident but it was OKAY! Last time we met, just under 28 years ago because my son was born in February 96. True story and last time I saw him.
Huge fan of both you guys. (Yes I'm a lance storm mark) I hope that storm is Jericho's final match. I mean for both of them. Start together and end together.
I just got to tell the story I just got done watching the dark side of the Ring I don't know Johnny K-9 but I know Bruiser bedlam when I was a little boy in Taylor Michigan he would come and wrestler for MTW and he would scare the crap out of me but he would also be funny because the fans would call him mister Clean because of his bald head real nice guy when I met him
"It's ok buddy" has been proven to disarm any hostile situation.
I'm going try this method
“It’s okay buddy”
Lmaoo K-9 was wild.

"there was a kfc with a salad bar" that's probably the only unbelievable thing in this whole video
Lol. Maybe it's a Wendy's.
I've been to that KFC
They used to have buffets until about 20 years ago.
Nah they use to have it similar to pizza hut
@@E_l_l_i_e ya i know WENDYS had one and KFC never did but Im in Western Canada so maybe they did in USA?
Thank you Jericho 🙏🏾
Johnny K-9 was simply a different unit
Feels like Bruiser Bedlam would get along pretty well with Vince McMahon.
It almost sounds charming the way he did these things that everybody else would be offended by.
He said he won’t do it again so what’s the problem?

He killed people.

Nice seeing Lance on here.

Storm is in WWE. Little chance that happens
@@NesDogg it depends. Jericho did Austin's show while at AEW. They could cut a deal. Just wait and see.
I'm sorry to hear that.
AWESOME 👌
Imagine if he brutally murdered someone in front of some innocent bystander. “It’s okay buddy! That guy was a loser.” Lol
JERICHO AND STORM
BACK TOGETHER AGAIN
heres hopin chris sees this, tell us a story about Gertrude

Johnny K-9 was good man.
LMAO. K-9 was nuts. His name wasn't just for show.
We need a dark side of the Ring of Barry Horowitz
The Big Roumanian Wrestler
a salad bar at KFC would be like an ATM at a strip club
They have atm at strip club dummy.
All strip clubs usually have ATMs
Ayyy, the Thrillseekers back together
The Thrill Seekers to AEW
That's against the law!
I guess in Canada you look more handsome as you age. Storm looks good. Just saying.
Why isnt this 1080p?
