My lock is open..but wont close ? Wont press down on 45 degrees . I had changed code .. now its scrap 🤣

The box with the lock is not yet opened but the default numbers aren’t 0000,they are 7890.
What so i do?

The downside about compilation locks is if you ever forgot the code the lock becomes useless, cannot be reset without the code.

This is exactly my problem... the lock is allready open, But i want to re-use it... I don't remember the code so it won't close... any tips? Or should I just try guessing or buy a new one

Simone Stout it’ll take a while but just go through from 0 and just increment by one each time, but a 4dig lock has almost 10,000 so it’s probably be best to just buy a new lock

Packaging says 0-0-0-0 but this didn't work. 7-8-9-0 to start did work however.

This clip is very useful because the instructions are very very bad on the back of the padlock card
2)"pull up the shackle and turn 90° anticlockwise"...🤦‍♂️
In the clip I see that you are turning clockwise to set not "anticlockwise"

it does work, i tried on 1digit lock, 2 digits lock, 3digits lock, 4 digits lock and also 5 and 6digits lock. You have carefully do what he says and remember to always pull don't the pin before you set the new password for unlocking.
