Can i use an gtx1080ti ?
@@leonardfournette104 I think the point of the video was to keep the budget down by using the onboard graphics (ipu) - so adding an additional gpu will only help (although he did say that in the video too!).
Short answer is “Yes, you can!”
Hello Joey. I'm liking the PC build a lot and looked to do something similar. I was wondering what type of cable did you use to connect your mobo with monitor since the build has no GPU to connect the monitor to. Also is it possible to run it on 144hz since no GPU, and how?
Hey would this work with a Ryan’s 9?
To think I started two years ago building my own first pc with the 3200g and now I have a legit top of end pc based on 3200g guide!
Same except when building mine I blew my money on a "in the long run mother board" and power supply, with a ryzen 2200g with 8 gig of ram
Now I have a RTX 3070 Ryzen 7 3700x same mobo and psu with 16 3200 ram
Same, i started with a ryzen 3 3200g with 8gb of 3000hz ram, i now have a ryzen 5 3600 with 16gb of 3200hz ram. I wasnt able to upgrade my gpu because of its so expensive and i want a rx 6000 series or rtx 3000 series gpu.
@@Z0niC101 literally, we all started the same. I had 2200g and one stick of 4gb ram. I know have 3060 ti and 5600x 32gb ram
Haha. Nice to see you guys getting into it.
Its a fun life.
I started with 3600 then got a 5600g but now a 5600x...and 5800x. Just kidding my first computer was a Pentium 4 but those really are my latest 4 CPUs.
Building your own pc for the first time is both fun and one of the most nerve wracking thing in the world. The breath of relief you release once you boot it up and everything works is one of the best feelings in the world.
Literally, I built my pc kinda based on this one and was shaking the entire time.
Yep when I was trying to remove the cpu I thought it was stuck even when the lever was pulled back but I just pulled it back more untill I heard a click and i took it off 😅
So true
my first "build" was a dell optiplex case swap with a gpu and psu upgrade and it went amazing
I just completed my research to build a budget PC with the Ryzen 5600G and this fits like a glove on the hand! 👽
glove on the hand, Nice man
@@CRATERHQ Hey Joey! Really enjoying the content you put out for us :)
Just go with 5700g if you can.
Use an i3 12100 it gives you 3 more FPS and is only 135$
Just upgraded my 5600g with a 6600xt.. built with the 5600g and granted it was a SLIGHT downgrade from my 1060 6g 4 months ago so I could wait for prices to drop land goddamn it was worth it.. my buddy built his 2060 pc a year ago for over 2k I’m only in mine about 1500
Just built this about a week ago (my first ever pc) exactly how you showed in the video. It performs better than I expected, even after watching the benchmarks you did, I was still very surprised just how good it is in person. Thank you so much for this build and tutorial.
ok thanks for replying
how much did it cost you?
@@santaheroica7388 after taxes, around $580 if I remember correctly. Before taxes, about $540
Thank you! I’ve been trying to find a comment like this. So is it worth it?
Update: I can’t find the power supply ugh😫
@@sarah123D I would say it’s probably the best starter pc. Definitely would recommend upgrading it by adding a dedicated gpu, like the guy says in the video (I am going to add a gpu in about a month). It can run most games decent but on low graphics settings only pretty much. As for the power supply, I couldn’t find it either so I went with the same one but the 710w version which is actually better if you want to upgrade it more in the future.
Thank you for the upload Joey, debating on building something small for my little brother for his birthday in July.
That's a lot of big brother points right there, if you do
So unexpected! Thank you Joey for all your work! I’m so happy these builds are coming out more frequently! Thank you so much!!

Finally we're back to the budget builds...PC building is starting to not be so expensive again
ofc it's not expensive, this build doesnt have a graphics card😭

In may 2018 i built my pc based on ur GTX 1080ti video with the same parts (literally) and i haven't changed anything and am really grateful that i built my pc in 2018 when the prices were 👌 and since i watched that video i've been watching ur vids till today.

If the evga 610w is out of stock can we just use the 710w?
Time to upgrade dude the 3060 is more powerful than the 1080ti. With Lovelace it will be 3 GPU generations old. Lack of all the new features is why Pascal is outdated know.

@@jrqnz4249 yes you can
builds you make with benchmarks is really fun atleast viewers know what works even on a budget builds
Love the vid, Joey! As much as I love the Ryzen APUs (my first one was a 2200G), I can't help but feel bummed that a few years back you can put together a $500 budget build with a quad core CPU and RX 570... These days, a $500 budget will most likely never include a dedicated GPU ):
Cheer up mate, you can still add a gpu to the build and up the performance.
@@s3dghost that's definitely true. but the fact that the $500 alone is for your gpu is really disappointing. if the gpu prices were never inflated i bet the average consumer can still make a budget pc today for 500-700 dollars not 1000.

I'm on my 3rd build. Both of the others were for my grandson and my daughter and this last one is driving me insane. I've been troubleshooting this for a week now. I had already taken it all apart and connected the motherboard up to test it and it all boots of great! I even connected all of the components just to make sure it all worked. Installed Windows 10.... everything went fine until I reinstalled it in the case and it won't boot up at all. It's a Morovol case. The other two were the Cooler Master and a Vetroo M03. No problems. It is truly amazing how far APU's have come in such short time

A video card is probably more expensive than the entire PC crazy!.

Still one of my favorite...when my channel grows I'll like a collab Joey...👍👍👍
If you use 4000/4400/4800 MHz ram you'll get significantly better gpu performance considering if you can find it in reasonable price .
Also you can overclock the iGPU easily even with the stock cooler. To about 2.3-2.4 GHz
If you want to oc the cpu you're gonna need a beefier cpu cooler

Who's eyes were also instantly drawn to the Ryzen box like "yeeeep"
should've gone with 2x8gb or 2x16gb 3600++, the APU in 5600G is so good, even my friend's 5600G with 4x8GB Hynix CJR + DJR could do 3600 CL16, and it's on par with my 1050. also with the benefit of the architecture it could do 4000mhz++ on 1:1:1 ratio with ease, which is pretty beneficial for the igpu inside it, and the cpu cores inside it. Pretty much 4000~4400mhz with good timings (less than CL19) will be beneficial for these apu.
Idk if you gonna see this but the power supply for 610w is out of stock would 510 work ?

Sorry if this question seems stupid to some people who know a lot about PC's. I'm new and trying to do a budget build. When you say the CPU has integrated graphics, does that mean you won't need a graphics card or will you still have to buy that later?
Intergrated graphics means you wont need a graphics card as it is intergrated with the CPU. You can add a dedicated graphics card later if you wanted to that would take the place of the intergrated graphics that the CPU provides.
