Srila Prabhupada says devotee and devotion begins at 64 rounds. But he mercifully said 16 for us. When disciples asked if they can't do 16 he said they are less than animal. We are very fortunate he gave us this process and allowed us in the shelter of Krishna. The success in spiritual life is pleasing the spiritual master and the easiest way to please him is to chant this mantra at least 16 rounds.

I am an awfully bad speaker. I tried silent meditation to improve my speech and communication skills. It did not work. When I tried mantra meditation for a few days, it really helped me speak better. It helped me become more communicative, interactive and loveable. I believe, that if one wants to be a gifted teacher, professor or orator, the best thing he can do is recite mantra every day.

One of my favorite saying is from a Buddhist teacher who says Keep an I don’t know mind, then he tells the story of a man coming to se a master and the man. Is offered a cup of tea ,while the master pour the man speaks non stop w all his scriptural knowledge and the master pors until the tea is all over the table and flour. The man stops speaking and the master says, you come for knowledge but there is no room, no space as your mind is so full of itself ,so full of concepts abd full of knowing everything there is no space left like the tea cup , you come w a teacup asking for tea but the cup is already full,

Vedic tradition never demanded that their students should blindly believe or "swallow" anything --
“ IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT , LUMP IT “ TYPE DOGMA.
THEY ARE ASKED TO APPLY THEIR CONSCIENCE .
No guru wants his students to believe; he wanted his students to understand and agree . A teacher wants students to understand, to know, unlike a SINGLE HOLY BOOK DOGMA preacher who wants listeners to believe.
Moksha in Vedic tradition is given through the grace of god alone and only for those who deserve it according to Good karma . God never forgive Sin.
After death this deserving soul is liberated from the endless cycle of births and rebirths.
The body of the “realized man” or Jivan Mukt continues to exist until his karmas and prarabdhas ( greater responsibility ) has worked itself out, and then his mortal coil falls away on his own free will , and he attains Moksha.
Such people have sterling virtues like conscience, lack of ego, gratitude , lack of desires- selfishness- greed- jealousy- anger- and fear, unlimited compassion, respect for universal laws, raised consciousness and humility ( which yours truly does NOT have though I hold a rare Moksha Jatakam ).
In Sanatan Dharma it is your own conscience, (which arose out of awakened consciousness ) which connects you to the greater metaphysical unity.

Dharma leads you on the path of self realisation. Dharma includes adhara or regulation of daily life as per your conscience and written Vedic laws. You conscience is that spark of celestial fire. God resides in your DNA.

Every atom within us depends on the rest of the cosmos.
We are NOT independent from this cosmos. We are part of it. This is the reason we must live in harmony with the laws of the universe by exercising our free will.
When your body dies your consciousness just returns to the original source, with all the experience, knowledge and lessons it has gathered.
The next generation baby has this new knowledge programmed into the DNA. Both religion and science has vested interest in keeping this truth away from you.. Through your awakening you awake the whole of humanity.

Karma treats everyone equally. You won’t get special treatment.
intentions are pure. The universe wants harmony. It seeks balance.
Feel for those who are jealous of you. Have respect for their jealousy as they think so highly of you.
But the single messsiah / single holy book religions put you under servility. The mullahs and popes want to save you--because they have a hot line with god, and they can forgive you from any crime.
IN SANATANA DHARMA THERE IS NO MIDDLE MAN..

We cannot, in our conditioned state, hear paramatma, Krsna in the heart, so when a sincere soul cries from the heart, then paramatma comes outside and assumes a body. That is Sri Guru. That is Guru tattva. Then we can begin our spiritual life.
