There is a simple trick to "cheat" at these puzzles.
And it really is simple:
Orient the images side by side (some puzzles may be arranged vertically), then cross your eyes until the two images converge in your center of vision. At this point, every detail that differs between them will become immediately noticeable since your brain is getting conflicting information about it from each eye.
