Hello, I'm also a second grade teacher in Mexico, we still cannot return to face-to-face classes. Watching your video made me cry a little, I miss my work a lot, even those little moments where I prepare my lunch, have everything ready in the classroom to receive my children but my favorite part of the day was that peaceful way from my house to school that I enjoyed so much, I was able to live it again through your video, thank you!

You can be a Speech and Language Therapist. You will be able to teach kids with disorders (like leaning disorders, dislexia...) and help the teachers with but you will also be a health professional. Best of both worlds, lol

I love how organized and put together she is! I just turned 15, I’m not a teacher but I LOVE seeing these Day In the Life videos, they just give me ideas of how to start my day and how to go through with my daily routine. I also loving watching Madison’s Chanel because they encourage me just to get through with my day, I’ve been watching her videos for EVER. Since her very first one and I love just seeing how much she has progressed since then.

I’ve always dreamed of being a teacher, especially for younger kids. When I was little we had an extra room and my mom bought all this stuff and made it a classroom for me. I was in it during all my free time.

My daughter just finished 2nd grade. This makes me feel so good for her. She loved her teacher and it makes me appreciate the fact that she was always so kind and sweet to her and made her grow so much. Great job taking care of those kids.

Some kids can't afford for parents to make their brekfast so that's why EVERY school has it

Hello, I have been working as a teacher in Japan since this year.I sympathized with so many parts after watching your video."Every teacher is early in the morning (lol) It seems to be common all over the world, and it gives me energy."In Japan, it is very difficult to teach children during lunch time, and if a child causes problems after school, the school has to move.Also, I was very surprised that the arrangement of desks and chairs in the classroom was different from Japan.

The thing that stinks about most schools is that you don't get to pick your grade level.. teachers obviously have preferences, but it's mainly where you're needed! Also, the amazing thing about education is there is so many outlets! Just because you start off as an elementary school teacher, doesn't mean you're stuck in that spot for the rest of your life! You would have the ability to get your masters in pretty much anything! You could become an administrator, curriculum coordinator, media specialist, etc. So many options still in the amazing field of education without being tied down and committed for the rest of your life! :)
@@bezamesfin4329 it definitely depends where you teach. I’m in Oklahoma, and my school district is extremely hard to work for. I’m going into my 6th year and I’m already looking into other options besides teaching. I’m burned out, but if your entire heart and soul is in to teaching and doing everything in your power to give your students the success they need, I say go for it! Know that it’s a lot of hard work, but it’s the most rewarding and important job you could choose ❤️

Love your videos! I am studying education right now! Is it normal to sometimes doubt yourself a little when you are teaching. Sometimes I wonder if I am teaching the right way or when the kid looks uninterested even for a few seconds I feel I am doing it wrong. Any advice on teacher confidence?
Yes. Totally common. Don't be scared to go back and rethink a process or routine- mix it up or pick a senior teachers brain in ideas.
Hi! I just finished my first year of teaching and it is completely normal to doubt yourself or feel like you aren't teaching right. Everyone teaches in different ways and you'll be able to find your groove soon! Try to leave feedback for yourself and get into the mindset of "I did my best today and that's okay". You got this!
It’s so common to doubt yourself, and not just in your first year 😜 But don’t worry! As long as you are trying hard and doing what’s best for those kids, you’re doing a great job ☺️💕

How do they maintain sanitary precautions at the school or do U clean the chairs etc before they start and leave ?
In my school before we leave we have to clean our chairs/desk etc, but before our janitor comes.
