- Boys take a road trip to the city to check out a 1972 Chevy Chevelle that has been sitting for 15 years........will it start?
Watch as they go through and do a walk around, it has Crager SS rims, a small block Chevy 350 with a quadra jet and HEI backed by a turbo 350 transmission with a 10 bolt differential.
This car has been sitting in a yard in the city, untouched for many years. It’s in great shape for a 49 year old car. The floors are in great shape and it has disc breaks
Watch as they attempt to fire it up for the first time in 3 years but hasn’t been driven since 2006.
Not only does it start......... it drives!
We can’t find a running, driving car and not try a burnout.......
Spoiler alert - when we get back to Vinni’s shop we do a quick peek inside and check out the Black Widow jet boat, stay tuned for the break in of the 455 Oldsmobile big block that will power that insane speed boat.

I cant say im not jealous. Great score! Congrats vinny!!
Thanks man it’s Vinny here
Beautiful car. Worth it all day long.. Hire a bunch of young lads to do the grunt work and pizza and beer when they're done . Some work to do but way better than lots of other 49 year old cars!
Thats a nice 72 Chevelle, runs very nicely too . Super strong and smooth.. nice.
Oh okay Dave... this time exemption!! Lol
Hey Bill, it sure is. Thanks for watching and for your support.
The 1972 Chevrolet Malibu had a weak starter, bad front drum brakes, and rust problems around the windshield and back glass. With new battery, spark plugs and new starter the 350 V8 will start no matter how old it is. Good luck.
My brother had a 70 Chevelle and I had a 72 Nova. Great find, looking forward to seeing it brought back to life.
It'll be fun watching what Vinni decides to do with it
Thanks for watching.
Enjoy Vinni, you'll have fun with this one! Glad you moved the car before dropping the tree! 😆😆
He wasn't going to let that sit there, he's been wanting a project, so he's quite happy.
Anytime you pull a Chevelle out of the Wild is a Great Day🇺🇸💰
I don't remember seeing that many Chevelles as a kid. Someone must be cloning them someplace from Vegas or Chevettes! Good job guys!
That is one sweet Chevelle, boys. I am happy for you 🥲.
Hi Donald, it sure is. Thanks for watching
Great deal! I can't even find a used lawnmower the starts up that easy. LOL
Lol, exactly. He certainly got a great deal
Thanks for your support.
Nice find! I would have wanted to drive it home.
Absolutely, thanks again
That is awesome! Great find. That is in better shape than my 15 Chevelles, lol.
Yeah Dan, he got a pretty good deal on that. He's been working on it a little bit at a time stay tuned for a future video update on his Chevelle
Wow I’m jealous. What a great find really cool Chevelle👍✌️
It sure is, be sure to follow along as we see what he does with it. Thanks for watching.
@@soberingrestorationservices I sure will I enjoy the videos you guys put out 👍✌️
Micky Thompson she’s a Runner body work,block party,sick paint
My best friend had a chevelle back when we were 17. He has always wanted another. Yup, he sure misses that car. I helped him put a 327 in it, think it was our first engine pull and install. Brings back memories.
We all wish we still had some of the cars we had when we were younger, it is nice to be able to reminisce. Thanks for watching and for your support.
Smokin deal for sure!
Sure is. It's in great shape. Thanks for watching.
Nice looking 49 year old car. Holy crap. Be hard to find one like that here in Ontario. Look forward to seeing that boat bark to life too. Be safe and stay well.
Thanks Brian, that car is in incredible shape for being in Manitoba, we are also really looking forward to hearing the boat run as well. Thanks for watching.
Console Carey’s I had a 72 Cutlus supreme with the wood ball shifter 🇺🇸Bright blue/blue buckets 1983-86,High school
i like that park lights come on when he puts on the brake
Ya, lol super rare option 😁
Cragars! M/T Valve covers!! Incorrect Quadra-bog! If only it had headers and an obnoxious floor shifter!
Stay tuned lol

It even looks good meaning no one has screwed up the ride height 👍 by lowering it!
It's in very nice shape and very solid. Thanks for watching.
Nice ride I use to own a 1971 chevelle Malibu wished I still had it I was in my 20s when I had it I think if I hadn't mistreated it id still have it but I'm alot older now and it would be nice to have another 1971 chevelle they are great cars better made than what they are today
We all have those cars Chester that we wish we still had, I personally wish I still had my 1972 Buick Skylark but life changes and we move on. Thanks for watching.
I had a 72 Chevelle, and when you were trying to put the driver side seat forward or chipped the bucket part over I was yelling through the screen the button is in the center of the back LOL
Well thanks for letting us know that those a factory buckets because we were unsure. Thanks for your support

Slingshot engaged!!
Good ole line from Mortske, love that guys channel
That was a great deal to get that Chevelle. I have owned many Chevelles and currently have a 72. The reason that grill looks a little out of place on there is because that' a 70 grill. Hopefully there will be more content on this Chevelle.
Stay tuned
Nice Car ,,, I'd like to find one 🖒🖒 good vid guyz
It sure is in good shape, thanks for watching

Sweet deal. Vinny could hire a tree service and still be money ahead.
It was certainly a good deal for him, thanks for watching.
Same vintage as me too lol😜good trade!!
It's a good vintage lol. Thanks for watching.
Taillight bulb has a broken filament. Feeds into park lamp circuit.

This is a different animal
From Vinny
I had a '72 in high school with a 327 4 speed. I loved that car.
Hopefully we can bring back some memories for you. Thanks for watching.
The car didn’t like you’re doing a burnout LOL
The battery didn't like it that's for sure, surprised it could even do a burnout after sitting for so long. Thanks for watching

He sure did get a deal on that car,. Can't wait to see what he does with it. Thanks for watching
Sweet Chevelle , down in miami fl
Thanks Andy, we will be sure to add you to our map.
That car is younger than me.
Radio shack I remember the old 8 track in my 69 chevelle bob Seager and led zeppelin the good old days that looks like a ss dash
Hey Stacy I remember the old sound systems back in the day too, spark-a-matic was my stereo of choice when I was a kid super cheap but did the job. I do believe that is an SS dash
@@soberingrestorationservices that was nice what you did for dd speed shop I left a comment about your ls engine to make a bar stool go cart that would be cool I have never seen one with a ls engine great channel keep up the good work I'm starting to work on my 57 belair post I just bought wish our father was here to see it we have been looking for our fathers 57 for over 30 years a week after he past something got me up in the middle of the night ant told me to look on craigslist I put in 1957 and his car was at the top of the page my heart sunk I called them and took my younger brother to go get it in catoosa ok at a salvage yard I had already bought my 57 so I bought it for my brother the strangest thing when I called my brother he was on his back porch he told me it would be cool to have dads old car in my back yard he told me that before I could tell him I found it we went to get it dropped it of in his back yard then went to Yukon ok to pick up my 57 just a shell but it's a real 2 door post thanks again for the videos have a great weekend
350 Rocket 🚀 OLDS,👍GM
"CAR!" (Obviously a Canadian former road hockey player.)
Lol, yup done that once or twice. Thanks for watching.
Good deal!! Test the boat out. Sell it and build a nasty blown bbc chevelle with a 4 speed of course...
Boat is going to be sold but as for the car, it's still up in the air. Thanks for watching and for your support.
I would do a lot more questionable stuff than cut down a tree for a '72 Chevelle.... 😂
Lol, I'm sure a lot of us would also
Thanks for watching.
Worth it just for the crager ss wheels
He got a pretty sweet deal on that car that's for sure, he's slowly picking away at it. Thanks for watching.
@@soberingrestorationservices 👍🇦🇺
How come no one ever offers me a 72 Chevelle to cut down a tree. Son of a bitch. Lol. Thanks for the video
Exactly, it was certainly a great deal. Thanks for watching.
SS Dash and steering wheel in a Malibu!
Could very well be, we haven't looked into the numbers yet, but thanks for the info and thanks for watching.
70-73 SS were all an option package on the Malibu. Or somebody was parts swapping, it does have Olds floor shift and console
Nice Chevelle. Or I thought in Canada they were called beaumonts?
That would be a Pontiac, thanks for watching.
Moose Jaw.....Sask. for me.....
Thanks, we will be sure to add you to our map.
Been watching your stuff quite a bit so we subscribed, how bout a return!!!! We're good for some mediocre entertainment!! Thanks guys!!
Thanks guys we really appreciate it!! Looking forward to seeing what you guys have coming up!!
Absolutely, it's all about community not competition #CNC. Thanks for watching.
Absolutely, car culture united!!!
Espanola New Mexico
The car is awesome..... But where did you get that tarp?!
No idea, belonged to the previous owner. Thanks for watching.
Had one finally something other than a frigen dodge seems every one is in love with dodge but me need to find a GTO
I'm not a Dodge fan myself and I'd also love a GTO. Thanks for watching.
Sounds like you need power steering fluid
You are most likely right
i didn't see you check the OIL on that before you started it ????????????
The previous owner had checked it all.out before we got there, good catch though. Thanks for watching.
And we're going to hold it pretty good deal for cutting down some trees but if you look at what you got there you have a Malibu in a 72 at that non SS that's all rusted out has a 70 Grill in it and you go on and on about how decent the car is I just don't understand
You did not even check the fluids for oil trans or brakes
The seller had done all of that prior to us getting there, but good catch. Thanks for watching.
And what the hell are standard issue quarters
Someone out an SS dash in a malibu
That's what it looks like, thank you.
