If anything happens to the SVJ, you gotta UGR it. It should really stay stock otherwise.
Stay as it is, since it’s not stock. Stay with the gintani and the tune.
@David Kelley Gintani said he can get the same sound with a TT kit. That would be the most optimal scenario IMO but just the gintani exhaust is good enough for now too.

The market is going insane. All the Mercedes dealers in the U.S. are asking 80k above the sticker for a brand new G63 AMG. Aventador 50 anniversary, SV and SVJ are fantastic investments.

Well if your paying for a billet v12 how much would the block of aluminum cost? The machining work is pricey but nothing over the top, plus let's say 100k in rotating assembly and possibly equal amount in drivetrakn. Whatcha think the build cost? I mean if it's just Turbos thrown on a stock svj then I'd like to know what makes each turbo cost 500k

458 especially the Spider and the Speciale both coupe and spider have gone up 100k in value. There is still some GREAT cars for a good price such as F12’s.
Lambos have gone up as well since they're going hybrid soon.

The issue is supply and demand. Dealers are light on inventory so price’s are high. Especially for foreign vehicles. I took delivery of a 992 turbo s and a month later, the dealer offered me 30k more than I paid for it. I did not bite and kept it. You cannot find anything reasonably priced today. My neighbor paid 125k for a 2019 991s. That car was 90k a year ago.

The market is definitely crazy right now. It forced me to sell my Chevy SS sedan. But I bought another one with lower miles and rarer color because I just love it too much. This will be my fourth. I highly suggest the SS (Holden Commodore SSV) if y'all ever want to experiment with things around $40-50k. Or a CTS-V Wagon. Y'all probably saw mine at the toy drive up in Lancaster PA last year.
Both of those cars I mentioned ONLY go up in value. I have made money and put a cumulative 50k miles on three separate SS's over the last 3 years

A dealer here in Oklahoma sold 2 LFAs owned by the same guy (I believe). A white one with brown interior for about 550k and a lime green with white interior (1 of 2. The other one is in Europe) for over 700k

I’ve been watching the car market for the past 2 years and the prices on a lot of high dollar cars have doubled and tripled in that time
The only way you’ll gain from the market, is if you sell your exotic and not buy anything for a while. Like Jimbo said, what are you gonna replace it with that has the same hype.

There are many fundamentals driving prices higher, and timing the top of car market will be nearly as difficult as financial markets. I think the balanced approach would be to sell off consumer cars that will eventually depreciate while fishing for dumb money retail prices on collector cars. The best way to time this will be looking at buyer leverage use, when first time buyers are pushing prices higher with debt, it creates a vulnerability in the market.
