Magnificent! Castle Howard is absolutely beautiful! The House itself, along with the decor & furnishings are incomparable! Also, the Art & Paintings in the Castle are outstanding! There are SO MANY amazing Paintings imaginable on the walls of the magnificent Rooms. The collection of Paintings here could easily compare with the finest Art Galleries. Also, the superb restoration work done in the Castle. including the magnificent Dome is excellent & just breathtaking. Especially since this fine workmanship was only replicated in the nineteen sixties. Unbelievable! The fact is, as far as grandeur is concerned, a King's Palace could actually pale in comparison to Castle Howard. Indeed! The Gardens & Grounds here are also very beautiful as well with spectacular fountains! Thank you for sharing this wonderful experience at beautiful Castle Howard! Blessings to you both!

Castle Howard really is breathtakingly beautiful and it's amazing they managed to rebuild the dome and repair as much as they have... still many rooms to do but we believe it is all water tight now. Our favourite room was the blue room the colour is the perfect back drop for the wonderful things in it. We have another castle coming up soon and the interior is also incredible with thrones from the house of Lords... wishing you a lovely weekend and sending you best wishes from us both 😊

Hi Neil and Ant, this is a property that we've passed a few times. Always wanted to take a look around but never had the chance so we are so pleased that you have shared this. There were some amazing baths could see myself with a bath full of bubbles a roaring fire and a bottle of champagne 🍾 fantastic. Wow the dome looks absolutely fabulous, so good that they were able to restore it and the hall, what a great job they have done. Love the blue i always like rooms decorated in that shade. The ceilings in the chapel were absolutely wonderful too. The fountain was very spectacular reminded us of the one at Witley Court . Your tour shows this wonderful property so well you have definitely made us even more determined to visit here sometime soon. Hi Dave and Dawn! Thankyou so much for watching! They certainly knew how to live didn't they! There were plenty of bell pulls in the rooms so you'd have no problem summoning a bottle of champers! We understand that you could go up and see the fire damaged upper floor rooms which are now just bare stone and brick with images of how they once looked but sadly at the moment health and safety don't allow it... Our favourite room was the blue room too! It was only redecorated in 2002 (?) when the previous Howard to live there, Simon Howards wife gave birth to twins and we were told as a tribute to her and the babies he changed the room to blue her favourite colour! @@chrisisjustme7546 I always love your channel! Quick question: Do members of the Howard Family continue to reside in part of the Castle, or do they operate it solely as a museum? I would also be interested in knowing where, precisely, they fit in as far as their family net worth with families like the Cavendishes and the Grosvenors (obviously, NOBODY is as rich as the Grosvenors, they're richer than the House of Windsor, lol....!). Any information on this?
@williamsmith5549 they are reputed to have a family wealth of £80 million so approximately a tenth of the Cavendish family but certainly not to be sneezed at lol... They live at Castle Howard in family wing... that's on the left looking from the front of the house 😊
