Nozomi was very lucky...even though the 2 who took her only used her for the money they could get framing innocent folks, they eventually lost everything including their freedom. Kids, especially young kids, should learn about Stranger Danger, no matter where they live; and parents should teach them at first, and reinforce it daily, monthly, and/or yearly, as needed, as youngsters do tend to forget. Offers of candy, puppies, kitties, money, or anything that can get a kid's attention are all prime targets for strangers to use...along with believable excuses, even acting like it's an emergency. This is an excellent reminder, and, although an anime, a great PSA for this, also!

It's no laughing matter that is for sure. And you don't get money for the return of your child either. Unless you are rich. But I am not rich so their was no reward for the safe return of my child. She was kidnapped at 2 years old. And they went to jail.

    As for those crooks
After getting arrested by the cops, the judge seeing as they are guilty of kidnapping and child endangerment were sentenced to 88 years in prison and prison time was brutal for them as they got beaten by 12 prison guards including Hadley and another 2 resembling George Carlin and Woody Allen. But when the crooks tried to escape so that they can kidnap nozomi again, they tried to escape but the prison guard resembling Woody Allen caught them red handed and put them into solitary confinement. But when they were released, their families and jobs banished them for their crimes and ultimately they were blacklisted due to their crimes. Now those guys have to live in a shabby cabin while living in poverty. However a criminal catcher ( played by Woody Allen ) catches him and starts to sexually assault the female crook causing her to fall to her death while the male crook was molested by the criminal catcher before being put into a cage and getting thrown into the Delaware river.

when you find a child declared missing alone on the street, it is advisable to call the police first and not accompany her home (even just notifying the police and then accompanying her home would have saved the protagonist from kidnapping charges).
Among other things, the boy could also reply to the mother's post to let her know that he had found her.
In fact, the parents could have been out looking for their daughter and not at home.
So in the end our protagonist is to blame for what happened to him.
It's ok to help those in need, but it's always better to protect yourself... especially if you know that your parents are looking for you.

Another thing is why the little girl agreed to do what the kidnappers asked of her and never thought of asking any of the people she met to contact her real parents.
at first she was definitely scared, but then in the long run she continued despite all the rescue options in front of her (it seems she brought a lot of people to her false parents). The fact that everyone paid and did not make the police pay shows that everyone was reckless and acted instinctively without thinking about the possible problems.
In the end the little girl apologizes to the protagonist. But what exactly is he apologizing for?
To feel like apologizing he must be aware that what he did was wrong... but doesn't have the conscience to ask for help? to go and look for a policeman?
(The kidnappers left her alone for hours... she had plenty of time to do so.)

Wow... this scam is the same level of scam as the winning ticket.
As well-known as knowing how to walk
But it's cool that you share these stories because children can watch the channel and understand the importance of not paying attention to strangers.

Holy crap! this is the most fucked up clip I've ever seen. 2 kidnappers used a little girl to extort money from good samaritans? Goddamn. Last month, this art style and character design shows up from this clip called "I saved my sister and injured my face...". Haven't seen atom in a long time with keita like weeks ago? 2:54 seen that face before. Cute. 12:55 that pose atom to makes🤣. 13:10 is he wearing crocs? 13:28 haven't seen that a long time since Looney Tunes🤣🤣🤣🤣. nice phone cases by the way.

As a male, you better get a woman to walk with you as evidence to the police station with the lost kid or else you could be scammed money where the parents frame you for kidnapping.

Step 1: Call the police and stay in the open.
Step 2: Stay on the phone until they arrive.
Step 3: Make sure you are not alone.
Step 4: Keep a healthy distance.
I am glad the parents were found, but the couple that blackmailed the MC needs to do more than pay for their crimes.

That coulda ended a lot worse. Not s single one of them thought to go to the cops when they realized those werent that girl's parents. Then they resolved it themselves before calling the police. Theyre lucky the kidnappers were just as dumb as they were. Omg.

Sorry to say, but these things happen in real life. Helping someone, doing the right thing and playing the Good Samaritan these days will get you into trouble and lose your job.
