Blue Beatrice morning. I saw one of your CZcams videos yesterday. That video was made a year a go or around a year ago but when I saw it, I honestly heard your commentary to be totally wrong but it did not appear to me to answer you but today I have really felt the need to correct your perception about the subject or subject you spoke about. However I need you to understand first and foremost that I am never angry for disagreeing with you but I equally find the absolute need to respond to you accordingly!.
You may remember that you criticised Ghanaians for not speaking English but speak our Twi language whenever we meet people and you said that to be wrong because there are foreigners who might not speak Twi and understand Twi.
My answer to you is as follows: First of all have you visited any other country in Ghana or around the world?. Do they speak their own local language when the meet their people or not?. Beatrice you need to understand straightaway that Ghana is a completely different country than Nigeria because Ghana from the beginning of of country's history have a local language from the majority Akans that is dominant in our country and even the non akan Ghanaians understand if even some can't speak it fluently they all understand the Twi language so what is the wisdom and the sense of speaking a slavery language in our own country environment because there are foreigners amongst us?.
Does that make sense to you?. You might have noted that if any Ghanaian meets an European that Ghanaian is never going to speak Twi to that European because it will be clear to know that that person is a foreigner, right???.
And when it comes to the question of black or African foreigners in our country Ghana, those people obviously can't change our culture and our way of communicating amongst ourselves because we are in our own environment and its just makes sense to understand how we are able to express ourselves deeply flexibly and understandably in our local Twi language of the Akan majority than speaking a foreign slavery language that is not our mother language or our father language but we are still not slaves under a foreign power!.
And that is why when a Ghana talks to you in our environment and that Ghanaian gets to know that you the foreigner doesn't understand Twi then that Ghanaian would change the language into English! But please never expect majority of the Ghanaians you meet to first speak to you or foreigners in Ghana in a slavery language because Ghanaians are not still under the rule of those people that came to buy most of our ancestors and imposed their own language on Africans while they don't speak any African language in their schools or in their countries so why does it make any sense for Ghanaians to use theirs as our national language???.
Indeed most of our subjects in school including science are written in English as a foreign slavery language and historically Ghanaians are known to be better amongst the African countries for our command in every aspect of the English language in both our written and spoken ability including accent and pronunciations, however God created human beings with different cultures and languages so why should Ghanaians be in their own God given environment with their cultures and language but you expect them to put their language aside and stick to a foreign slavery language???.
The third issue is about what you said regarding our Ghanaian local dresses that you mentioned that Ghanaians do wear them all the time!.
Blue Beatrice you are wrong on that part as well and I need to explain it as follows:. First of all I need to let you know that I am a Ghanaian from the Ashanti Region Kumasi and a resident in the UK over the past twenty years. I have attended college here in the UK, I have obtained both my first and my second degrees here in England UK. Beatrice let me inform you because you might not know that from my personal experiences from these white people and what I observe from some of my lecturers, some can be wearing a one particular suit to school for the whole years!. Some might Change only the trouser on a weekly or even monthly basis but not the suit they wear on top on their trousers here in England UK for the whole year so what do you say to that too???.
If you say that Ghanaians can wear their local dress everyday it's never true and it doesn't make sense. And the reasons are as follows:.
Okay how many Ghanaians did you live with seeing them wearing that same local dress everyday??. I am actually not sure how close you have been with those individual Ghanaians wearing the very one local dress everyday or even continuous for one week as you spoke about but it's never true and why??.
What you might have seen would well be the case that a Ghanaian might wear a local dress which of course it makes absolute sense because they are living in their own local environment and the foolishness of Africans burdening themselves for the dressings of foreign European outfits make them mostly look silly and nonsensible, in fact what I can image from what you said was that those Ghanaians you spoke about might have worn their local dresses at on point in time but would change them to wear another different local dress in that order!. But you made the comments as if those Ghanaians you saw or have being seeing use to wear that particular same local dress everyday and that is totally untrue and it doesn't happen!., I am a full blooded Ghanaian born and brought up in my beloved country Ghana and I know how my people as a whole are not just the very area I do come from!.
Perhaps you did observe some individual mad people on the street who used to wear only one particularly outfit everyday who are only mad people and we have mad people everywhere especially in Nigeria too where they could wear one particularly attire bren local attire or a foreign attire throughout their lives but never the true observation from my own normal Ghanaian people. May be unless you could let me know that those people you spoke about as Ghanaians you used to be in the same room with them and you could clearly testify to the fact that you did or you do see them wearing one particular same local outfit!!. Otherwise you just overstated or exaggerated the story just by your own imagination but it made no sense because as I have already stated, no normal Ghanaian would choose to wear one particular so call local outfit everyday!!. Its madness.
And finally, Miss Blue Beatrice please do you know something??. In fact all that story I have tried to respond to you here were actually not necessary for you to have narrated them on your video, absolutely no need for you to have talked about the language aspect as well as the so called cultural or traditional dress aspect. In fact I can never imagine any Ghanaian blogger having the time or paying any attention to talk about issues like this, and also not any European or s white blogger could ever have time talking about such wriggly observed subjects.
You could have spoken about them but not the ways that you negatively explained them because Ghana and Ghanaians have our national local language unlike Nigeria so you can't expect us to start speaking a foreign language in our own country whilst we have identified you as a foreigner and its equally non existent that any normal thinking Ghanaian wears any one particularly local outfit everyday!!!.

A warning about digital technology: digital technology is fragile, requires electricity and magnetism to exist in addition to reoccurring obsolescence, which means a significant amount of data will always be lost, deleted or discarded for one reason or another, and it will generate a significant amount of trash. there are sociological implications as well including the possible obsolescence of human being, or at least the drastic reduction of. it ain’t just tapping on your phone and wah lah the most delicious bacon cheeseburger appear at your front door(or jolloff) half hour later. or having access to 90% of all movies hollywood has ever produced. there’s another side to digital technology. including environmental pollution. so anyone uploading videos for profit, understand that it could end at any moment. prepare yourself and make peace with that. it could end because your are utilizing a mechanism that is fragile and other issues I mentioned. or it could end because you made a mistake or “they “ made a mistake or something sinister is happening. but just know your video uploading on this platform, one way or another will eventually end. so try to buy land with your profits. property. don’t just go buy clothes and shoes and go partying. not to say Our good young Sista has done that but clearly she was not prepared at least spiritually. do something with the money that’s tangible and an investment in your stability and independence and get your supplies together. have an exit plan on how you can make money without this platform or use this platform productively demonetized. some people use it to promote their business or to inform or enlighten. there is life outside of CZcams. it may be a little rough at first but you can do it. that is if you can check your ego and be humble. this is just another example of how western culture imposes itself upon Us and get Us to buy in and then proceed to get Us dependent on it. and then manipulate and control Us, but when We add it all up, the pros and the cons, it is a net loss for Us. always. it may be “good “ for them but for Us, it doesn’t seem to work out most of the time. peace and love my good Sista. it’ll work out. you seem to be a Sista who is tru to God. you’ll figure it out.
