    Natalie took us way back with this selection Friday night. So glad I got a chance to catch this legendary artist in concert. Been a big fan since 1976. My God continue to bless this Icon & American treasure. P.S.-I was slightly disappointed I didn't get my Group photo picture with Natalie but I'm sure she needed to rest a little after an awesome show.

    All I can say is that no matter how sick she may have been in this performance, she was still classy until her last day on this earth and that is why this lady and her legacy of music will always remain Unforgettable, continue to RIP Ms. Natalie Cole...."We Love You & Thank You for sharing your Gift of Song with the World"!!!!

    Wow I really commend her & Aretha Franklin. They literally sang until the day they died. Even in failing health. Dramatic weight loss. Shortness of breath & energy but NEVER even THOUGHT to retire! These are true LEGENDS!💯💯💯

    There will never be another Natalie Cole. She gave and gave and gave right up until the end. She never complained about her health and you could never tell how sick she really was because she gave 110% in all of her performances-did this without using backing tracks. I loved how she also gave thanks to Jesus at every performance she did. She took you to church and back! Thank you to the person that uploaded this video. And thank you Natalie, for the gift you were and still are to people learning about your music. Continue to sing with the angels in Heaven.

    To sing this GREAT when so very ill is a miracle in itself. Natalie's voice held up through EVERYTHING she was dealing with. This woman was simple incomparable. I think singing helped her cope with her health issues. Listen to her blow at the end, hollerin' like she in church! Lawd, one of the truly legendary, stone singers to ever grace this earth. I miss her terribly.

    This is why I always love Natalie Cole. The lady gave, gave, and gave until the bitter end. I'm so happy that she got the chance to shine one last time, but it pains me to see my dear Natalie in such a frail condition! I've loved her from the beginning, and I will state this until the end of time, Natalie Cole is one of the greatest singers on this planet. She was always put in the shadow of her legendary father, Nat "King" Cole, and the critics didn't acknowledge her versatility and musical acumen. Ms. Cole could sing anything, any genre and it was a natural thing for her to do so. It was second nature to her! I love you, Natalie Cole and your legacy will live on forever! Soar through the cosmos, you beautiful, sophisticated lady.

      I wouldn't say she was underated, she was really celebrated before her drug addiction, and after her sobriety she just wasn't celebrated in the same manner ever again, just wasn't the same anymore, yes she received grammys.... american music awards...and probably more. But I've followed her career since her debut album. I think the respect for her had gone quite frankly in a lot of ways.

    • @annamartin3489
      @annamartin3489 Před 3 lety +1

      @@kimberlystanley2965 I don't quite understand what the gist of your comment is but almost 100% of entertainers have used and abused drug's at sometime. Natalie said in her book that she wanted to be liked and talked about the pressures of being Nat Cole`s daughter amongst other things that go along with the dark side of the entertainment world. Thank God she did overcome the addiction but even if she hadn't I don't think it would have had anything to do with respecting her talent and the many great songs she sang.

    My Mom had passed in March, and my Dad was battling terminal cancer, but I wanted to go see this concert, and sadly didn't get to go. Natalie Cole is sorely under-rated, and I hope in time she gets her just rewards for the beautiful music and memories she left us, as she is getting now in heaven. Rest In Peace to one of the greatest singers to ever touch a microphone!
