    I own the exact same bike. Best ride I've ever had. Running ENVE 4.5 ARs tubeless (Schwalbe Pro Ones, 28s), it stays glued to the ground descending and on the flats. And once you get it going... so nice.

      Social Spinner hopefully, what mount are you using for Garmin/Wahoo?

      I'll have a better look tomorrow but pretty sure it's the bontrager out front mount with a underside light attachment

    Great video and nice bike man. It’s a 56cm I heard you say. What’s the weight and what’s your height. ? I wasn’t a Trek Madone lover until this model came in. I’m thinking going for a Trek Madone or a Bianchi Oltre XR4? 🤔
    Cuz the bike I own now is a Bianchi 928L light climbing bike. But I’m thinking going aero.
    I’m 1.73 a 52 or 54 would fit me better?

    • @AaronGale85
      @AaronGale85  Před 2 lety

      Hi mate. Im 180cm and ride the 56. Best thing to do is to go into your local trek dealer and get fitted to the bike. The Madones are a bit longer in reach due to the hood length. It's a great bike. I am now on the 2022 Emonda slr7

    KMC gold chains perform and last just as well as Ultegra in my opinion, have to keep them clean for the bling though. Nice video and nice bike! No question, madones are fast.

    How is your StagesPower meter hitting your frame? I have stages gen 3 on my SLR and it clears my frame pretty good!!

    • @AaronGale85
      @AaronGale85  Před 4 lety

      It was hitting the frame when i first installed it mate. I put an extra shim on the crank and it just clears now.

    Nice bike. How is it’s comfort compared with Tarmac sl 6 if you tried both and how is it in climbs? Thanks!

    • @AaronGale85
      @AaronGale85  Před 4 lety

      Obviously it isn't as comfortable but honestly it's not far off. Most comfortable aero bike in my opinion. It climbs fine. It is noticeably a little more heavy but I like it alot

    I’m from Sydney and looking for a new bike and don’t know whether to go with say the Madone or new Emonda. I’ve never ridden carbon fibre before, just a basic aluminium bike which was my first road bike. I want looks, comfort, speed, climbing with my local club group rides and just everyday riding lol. What’s your thoughts on this. How does it feel to ride both bikes? Many thanks!

    • @AaronGale85
      @AaronGale85  Před 3 lety +1

      Hey mate. I have had both and they are both great bikes. I honestly love the Emonda. In your situation it would definitely be the better choice. Its a great all round bike. Climbs awesome. Great at speed and handling is a dream.

    • @mayanksharma605
      @mayanksharma605 Před 2 lety

      I strongly disagree. I got a Domane SLR 9, rode Emonda SLR 7, and settled on the the Mad One. It is SO stable, powerful, responsive, enjoyable, substantial. aesthetic, FAST, and RACY. Emonda is very "dead". Give them both a try. My buck says you'll land on a Madone- both Shimano and SRAM are great in their own way, but the frame and wheels, and cockpit- nothing like the Mad One

    • @AaronGale85
      @AaronGale85  Před 4 lety

      Hi. You would be half way between a 54 and 56. Best to get measured up in store mate. The Madone are slightly longer in reach

    If you can only have 1 bike and live in an area where you have flats, rolling hills, and climbs would you recommend this bike?

    • @AaronGale85
      @AaronGale85  Před 4 lety +1

      Good question. I love this bike. It's stiff comfortable and very very fast. Most comfortable aero bike.
      But it is heavy. I notice going up tbat it's a bit heavy. My 56 weight 8.8kgs with cages and pedals and power meter.
      But it you want comfort and speed mixed with one of the best looking bikes money can buy then yeah for sure.
