I hope the siblings are all reunited and nobody is estranged from one another. My sister and I didn't speak for 15 years and both of us and our children suffered for it. It was pure stubbornness and pride that kept us apart. Pulling for all of you and keeping you all in my prayers, especially your mom.

Why not call the fire department? My family has a real property, and by that I mean middle of nowhere mountains, however if there was a forest fire that erupted anywhere nearby I’m calling for the fire department as they are much better equipped to deal with forest fires than a family
I worked as a wildland Firefighter on a hotshot crew for Alaska DNR Fairbanks area Forestry for a few years. We operated 2 20 man crews, with 2 helis/crew, trucks if that was an option, not to mention all of the Emergency firefighter crews, Water Engines, Forestry techs, and I haven't even mentioned BLM and their 2 hotshot crews, about 25+ smokejumpers and whatever other resources they have. We also use ducks and other planes for water/fire-retardant drops. That's just off the top of my head of what we have immediately available in Fairbanks, and there are loads of other quality fire resources throughout the state, but Alaska is bigger than you think. We have hundreds of fires statewide every year, the majority of which we only monitor. Multiple factors ar involved in deciding whether or not we get involved. Chances are we would have there, but it's much quicker to deal with it themselves. That is assuming it stayed put and didn't pop back up again later. I'm not holding my breath
