Thanks Francesco, I have used the Boss and do like the sound but not the lack of vocal power. I just bought the EV Everse 8 and have a lot to learn to get a great sound out this speaker. Your tutorial was most helpful towards achieving this. Keep up the good work!
I've been waiting for this video from you, thanks man. Very useful!
🙏
Thanks for sharing your preferences for mixing on the EVERSE. I use this speaker as well for live playing and I do the same thing you do with boosting treble and reducing bass in the vocals, but I haven't tried using compression. I'll give that a shot with my setup and see how that feels.
Nice video impressed with your explanations.
The guitar settings have to be a function of the guitar you are using and the pick up in the guitar...
Looking for help with making the Everse sound a little less harsh and a bit more like the Bose to use it as a Bluetooth speaker ( main channel) For just playing recorded music.
Do have any suggestions. Fantastic suggestions regarding channels 1 and 2! The mic sounds much nicer. Thanks so much.
Hello, do you hear a constant small noise from your ev everse 8? especially when increase main volume. Thanks
Any tips for djing eq settings? Mostly Techno music
Hi about the presets. Do I live on flat or dinámic mic and acoustic guitar as well?
Dove posso contattarti? Grazie

EVERY LITTLE THING YOU DO THIS SPEAKER HAS A MASSIVE IMPACT ON ITS PERFORMANCE. **LESS IS MORE ** THIS SPEAKER WILL make your vocal sound muffled if you dont take out the bass.
Ps the cable you use also have a major impact on sound. Go gold plated ALWAYS. Invest in yourself . God bless.
Hi man! Great vid! I just got two of these is it possible to connect them both through a cable so I can connect a microphone and guitar on one with no latency? And if so, how is this done?
XLR Mix Out
@@georgchekinoff239 connected to the other XLR mix out as well?
To connect to 1 or 2 connectors of another speaker, use an XLR Female - XLR male cable or an XLR Female - 6.3mm guitar connector cable
Thanks!

why did you not select acoustic guitar in eq settings and Voice for #1 #2 as it looks like you left it in "flat"
How the Everse compare against the Alto TS408?
I compared them at the guitar center, ev is more detail and open, alto kind of muffed a little bit. But for half price, it did a great job.
The compression adjustment here is not the most confidence inspiring as you have no meter to gauge whether or not your input signal is near threshold of compression. You basically have to guess and trust your ears.. You are assuming here that your input gains are the same for every instrument or mic you put into the speaker. There is no such thing as universal setting for different sources as the responses can vary so much with bass/midrange/treble. Again, you can only trust your ears and not the suggestions laid out in this video
Of course this is an example. There are too many things that can change in everyone setting: different mics, different instruments, different voices, style, taste… Your ears are always the final judge. In this video anyway you can have an example of the settings I’ve seen generally works better on this speaker. I think it can be useful as a good starting point for everyone, and from there you can adjust it.
The COMP control controls the onboard compressor to adjust the input signal processing
during operation. Compressors are available on INPUT 1 and INPUT 2.
4 Use the COMP control to adjust the compressor threshold and the compression ratio
simultaneously.
Adjusting the COMP control from 0 to 100 will result in the following:
- The gain below the threshold will increase from 0 dB to +6 dB.
- The compression ratio will increase from 1:1 to 8:1.
- The compressor will reduce the dynamic range of the audio signal proportional to the
compressor setting.

What about the firmware update? I have just done it and it seems to have improved a lot. I'm actually blown away at how much it has improved
Which kind of improvements?
Sound, balance, definition.. compression.. i mean the sound quality has skyrocketed in my opinion. Or maybe it has reconfigured some parameters that I wasn't aware of?

Very lazy,, don't want to touch or do anything practical, hmmmm nice. Don't bother plug-in any mic or guitar to practicalize, just talk......
You'll find a bunch of videos where people explain how to plug a cable in and play a standard chord progression through a pa. Go find one of those.
