Yeah the chain was just awful. I could even let the pearl one slide, reluctantly but that's basically at the limit of something that matches the dainty aesthetic of the original bag. Now it looks just like a mess ngl, impractical and unsightly. Hopefully she'll learn from this and use better quality hardware on designer items, because no one would think she is wearing a Dior bag, they'd think she is wearing a bad knockoff when she is in fact wearing a (very abused) legitimate Dior product, ironically.
For those saying it opens upside down, I kind of this that’s cool? You can just flip the bag up towards you and open it. Idk, maybe bc I usually just carry one of those wallets with a strap on my wrist when I’m running into a store or a clutch when I’m going to dinner, so in my mind it makes sense. Overall, it’s cute and if it makes her happy that’s all that matters☺️👛 Plus that giant mirror is awesome! One less thing to pack!
Even if you turned it the other way to open it the zipper would open up the whole bag and stuff would fall out. The only way to safely ooen it would be if it was on a countwr top with the bottom flat. Its not meant to be a purse.

You are a Smart Cookie and can always open your cute little purse on your lap or table and even use the mirror for applying lipstick, check your look, etc. When you go out it's nice to have a small bag for ID, keys, tissues, a little cash, credit card.
