I was a security guard on a construction site. A gentleman pulled in and tried to go through the side entrance and I stopped him and told him he had to have a hard hat. He said he didnt and I explained he was on a active site and would have to go to the other gate and into the office and get a hard hat. Next thing I knew he pulled up twenty minutes later and asked me my name. All I thought to myself was oh dang here goes my job. After I told him he then explained who he was. He is the owner of a billion-dollar project being built right where I was standing. 🤣🤣 I was like okay I'm fired 🤣🤣 He thanked me for following the rules and said he wanted me at the front gate. He made me the new supervisor and every morning he would bring me coffee and specialty donuts down to the gate. One of the nicest men I ever worked for. 🤗🤗

I work for a major US bank, I have personally met 2 of the executive VPs, one is now the president of the bank. They are all very nice people, multi millionaires, each one insists you call them by their first name, even the CEO. Probably the best place I have ever worked. Just because you are at the top, dont mean you look down on those who work for you.

After about 10/15 minutes I realized where I had seen him.In a 3'×5 ' gold framed painting in the lobby of the multi-million dollar build I was working in. I didn't say anything. Just stayed real nice, and professional. 2 or 3 days later he pulled up in a Porsche with like a 5k suit. He came and shook my hand. Told me thanks for all my hard work. I had started working at a company manufactured glass/frames for skyscrapers and sports stadiums. One day I went outside to eat my lunch and sat on ground next to a nice older guy. I said one of these days when it's slow I'm gonna break down some old crates and pallets to make some benches. He said it sounded like a great idea. Finally a slow day arrived and instead of breaking crates/pallets down to toss in dumpster I built some benches. A foreman complained told me that I wasn't being paid to build benches. I said when it's slow what's it matter if I break down the stuff to make benches for others to sit outside on lunch or toss it in dumpster. It's then that the nice oldee guy appeared asking what the problem was. The foreman told him I was wasting company money building benches from scrap wood. It was then the nice older guy told the foreman that he gave me the greenlight. The foreman then walked off. It was then I found out that the nice older guy actually owned the company. He built the company himself and never forgot where he came from.
I used to work in a company where security had to inspect our bags before entering and after exiting the building. Once I came to work with other employees and the CEO. The security inspected everyone's bag except the CEO. The CEO called out the security guard and said that "If you're going to do that to every employee, you should also inspect my bag, I work here too.".

This has happened to me once. I once went to one of my father's factories. And my father was also with me. The guy on the gate reception was not there but another guy who was actually new was standing. My father said to me let's go but he stepped in front of us saying that we should wait for the other guy to come and give permission to us. My father laughed and asked him if he knew who he is. He said I don't than my father again laughed and said I am the owner of this factory and the whole company. He was like oh shit but my father praised him and I was like wow.

When I went to my second job interview, I felt I did poorly, even though it was for a software engineer trainee position. As I was leaving, I held the door for a man whom I assumed was a network technician (he was wearing a gray t-shirt, blue jeans, and Caterpillar boots, while everyone else was in formal attire), and we went to the elevator together. He asked me how my interview went and a couple of questions about what I learned in school. I thought it was just small talk and told him I thought I did badly because there was a lot I hadn’t seen in college but I now know what to learn to be prepared for the next opportunity.
I left the building feeling so unmotivated that I didn’t show up to another interview I had that day, and instead went straight home to get some sleep. The next day, I got a call from HR telling me I’d passed the first round and they wanted a second interview with me. Everything we talked about was related to the current position because I was going to be hired.
Then, in my first week, I learned two things: I was the only one hired, and the guy I talked to in the elevator was actually the owner of the company

This only shows that the employee is doing what he ought to do. Following companies rules. Not all employees know their employers. This happened to us also. My friend owns a bar at the top of the building where she also owns. When we went to the bar using the elevator, the guard said "you are not allowed" reffering to my friend who owns the place. We stared at him and what my friend did was, he called his husband who is upstairs and his husband called the guard with his walkie talkie and explained that he let her in. The guard was so ashamed and frightened, but my friend told him, it's ok because he did right and job well done.
it’s nice to know that employee is doing their job but failed to recognize the important people in the company.
Your friend's husband owns a bar.
Yeah but this guy in the vid was a bit rude assuming that she's a courier. The first step should always be confirming what they're here for.
He failed big time because of assumptions and rudeness.
I think he made an assumption 1st. He should have asked who she was 1st or "how can I help you". He was judging her based on appearance. He should have said " could I please get your name and who you are wishing to see". He also should know who the owner is.
Something similar happened to me in South America. When my parents passed away, my brothers and I inherited some hotel shares. Early one morning I went to the hotel, walked up to the receptionist and said good morning, but she didn't bother to respond or look at me, all she said was "how could I assist you lady".
I said good morning a second time, and again all she responded was a "how can I help you" without even looking at me.
I gave her my full name, told her that both my parents had passed away and I had stopped by to introduce myself as the new shareholder.
She looked at me in shock, got up her chair, said good morning, asked me to please take a seat and offered me coffee.

When I was in the Navy, a Nuke, there was a story going around that someone was literally up in the overhead pipes fixing something. Admiral Rickover, the godfather of the nuclear navy, was on board that day and when he heard of the issue, he went to see what was happening and see what was wrong. He climbed up into the overhead also and crowded the guy doing the repairs. The mechanic told him to get lost and he would be down in a minute. When he came down he saw that it was RIckover that he yelled at and also fell over, knowing his career was over. Rickover shook the man's hand and told him he was right to clear out he area if the other person was slowing the repair or risking the equipment. This attitude was encouraged in the nuclear navy. It made repairs faster and safer if everyone was honest about what was going on.

So many people here think it's great for a receptionist to act like a snooty jerk to anyone who isn't dressed like a businessman. Even if the person was an ordinary person off the street and not a billionaire, there is absolutely no excuse for a public-facing employee not to show a minimum level of politeness.
One time when I worked security in a 5 star hotel I stopped magic Johnson to get in a party that he was throwing in the hotel ballroom because he was walking behind 6 guys taller than him and I didn't see him! He jumped out of the back and told me, "Please let
me in my party", and he had a smile ear to ear. And he told me I was doing a great job!
Great story! 😂
Cool story bro. Next time don’t make it up
It's true I was there and Michael Jackson was dancing 😂
Everyone is coming out with the same story, 🤦🏽♂️🤦🤦♀️ 🥱
The guy was doing his job, respect to him
He seems rude
@@ankitkul.4034 i don't see any rudeness he was doing his job if he let her pass he without knowing her he would be incompetent. it's this lady who is arrogant
Not really. He's being rude as fuck. If I owned that business and building I'd tell him to have some manners and ask who the people are and not assume like a dumbass
@@umuhungu201 oi.
He could be less of a 🍆 about it though.
Receptionist is savage here.
He did his job perfectly without judging anyone
I've got my own story: I was a temp at engineering firm setting up the lunch buffet for a managers meeting, and one of the early arrivers started picking out food items from the buffet. I rushed over and said " No wait, we're not serving yet, just go sit down and we'll announce lunch!" He smiled, turned and walked away. A co-worker came over to me quickly and whispered in my ear "That's the CEO." I was horrified at myself, but so impressed by the humility of this executive. I'll never forget it.
That’s a perfect example of when you either find a huge hole, or you dig one and dump in it 🤣
Bruh noone asked for your stupid ahh stories
CEO was peckish but also a good man
Her Smile After Giving Her Full Name
“Priceless” 😊
She is lucky to have employee like him
very lucky.. an employee who has no idea who the boss of the company is and profiled her as a courier the moment she walked in.. no "good morning, how can I help you?" or "do you have an appointment?" - just straight, "go round the back"
That was gangsta! The look on his face...priceless. Lol
I was at a large company gathering having dinner, and I sat down at a large round table, and a gentleman come up, and I invited him to sit with us. I introduced myself and told him what I did. Then I asked him what he did. And he told me he was the president of the company.
😂😂😂😂 I will never ask anyone what he do after this
😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Love all the Lara Croft movies❤❤
I don't know Lara croft.
Which one is this?
I’ve never seen one but will buy a couple after reading what you wrote.
Laura Croft ❤
❤❤❤
Always liked this scene
This is how you get a raise.
I was a Telco Technician working on a disconnect order. Do hundreds daily so didn't recognize this one order has been submitted 3x before. Higher up CEO of the Telco came storming down demanding to know why I disconnected his number 3x's? Without hesitation I told him, "You're asking the wrong question to the wrong person. What I'm doing is what you pay me to do - my job" His face went purple. He came back later and apologized. Good man.
😮😢😮😢yeah....you never know whom you're talking 👄 😉 😏 to so be gracious and kind ALWAYS...
Wow😮
Can you further explain? What is a 3x disconnect Order?
Sounds like you are lucky you even had a job afterwards, men have ego. But you would probably have just found another one anyway so meh lol

It’s called “RESPECT”. It should be given to everyone. If you respect others, it can be inferred that you respect yourself, and are worthy to receive it from others as well.
Respect is earned not given.
@@HolgerDanskeNo as a guard I do our SOP without being rude almost like lobby staff. They don't need to earn my respect what they need is abide by the rules given to me by my employer.
@@HolgerDanske I respect your opinion, but why does your respect need to be valued so much so that someone would need to earn it?
@@onetwothreefourfivesix789 Because I must earn other people's respect, they should earn mine. I don't want someone to respect me arbitrarily but because of my actions, honesty and words.
@@HolgerDanske Fair point, I can’t argue with that
This is my favorite part of the movie. This one was floored when he realized who she was.
I love her confidence and manner bout it.
Do you expect something less? I mean that's her company
My dear pal confidence has many phases but according to my law it's two, one is when you have everything under your control and another is when you don't have anything to loose, Correct me if I was wrong
She did her part well and he did his job well..respect
He don't.do you do your oob like that? Disrespectful and judgemental voice?.
Wot..begin rude is doin ur job well...!?
I don't think so..
Mr Unemployed...
You should be nice with everybody no matter who he/she is.
No, he didn't. He was rude.
Title pls
I like the way she approved herself without arguing ❤ this is called educated pple👍👍👌👌
No, she deliberately created an uncomfortable situation for an employee that was doing his job, holding back her identity for maximum effect. That's arrogance and entitlement, as is expected of a nepo-baby like she is.
She, knowing that the employees of the business she inherited wouldn't know her on sight, should have introduced herself at the front desk right away, so he knows what she looks like for future visits, and then gone in.
Just happened to me. I'm an armed gate guard. I greeted this guy in a Jag the way I greet everyone, with a smile. I was quick with the info, turns out he VP for the company that owns the building and many others. He thanked me for my efficiency.
I respect to who take their job seriously 👏
It’s not about doing your job. He straight up was rude and assumed. I’d make him a courier, teach him a bit of respect
Movie name please
U jokin rite...?
He's just doing his job, she hired a good person who does his job .
Reception shouldn't make assumption though, because it may offend customers. It directly violates this job's responsibility.
He's absolutely doing his job, but being a dick about it. He straight assumed she was the help instead of offering assistance.
His not doing his job properly, being disrespectful and having an attitude isn’t doing your job
No he didnt
He judged his customer.
Actually she do the courier job. So he may seen her do the courier that's why he said that. He doesn't assume anything here. He just did it correctly
Best scene in the whole series
Face expression of the receptionist after Laura Craft!😮😮
Nearly the same story happened to me once. I worked for an investment bank, I just came, was new to the company, I was employed as an event manager and I was heading to the conference. I got into the lift together with an old man , he was well-dressed and eager to talk, he was accompanied by another man. Later it turned out that he was his bodyguard. He asked me what company I was working for, whether I liked working for the company and where I studied what education I had, we had a wonderful talk and after that he offered to give me a ride to the conference venue because he was going to the same conference. I happily agreed. When we arrived at the conference , other employees saw me with him they told me: “don’t you know.. it’s a famous Russian politician, he is from the Russian government….that was funny, because while I was chatting with him I had a feeling as if he was my old neighbour or somebody I had met before it didn’t even occur to me that he was famous
That’s the power of politicians
ll
Probably because you just came.
Waiting for the "it didn't happen" comments to pop up
So... spit it out, Putin?
I worked for multi billionaire man once and 1 day he sent his daughter to get training. My boss didn’t tell me anything put me in charge of training her. I thought she was a poor college intern so I treated her to lunch and was nice to her. After everything settled and I realized who she was, we still have lunch together.
That’s nice and that’s how u should treat others . Being humble and find out what they are there for , it wouldn’t have been like that if u were like the guy in the video and rudely asked her to go to the back entrance for deliveries without even asking her purpose of visit .
Deserves a raise. He was doing his job.
Cultural differences, I worked for a Japanese firm, the CEO, would happily follow security protocol, even stopped a few times and checked. And was thankful to the security team for keeping everyone safe. When everyone saw this, no-one complained about being stopped by security.
Right, Japanese r very polite, they address ppl properly, smile n bow, then they bomb pearl horror anyway, no one see it coming, 😀😀😀😀😀
@@gusyao8407well they didn't left any atom message a couple of times to non military targets did they??
@@gusyao8407 There is credible bits of info esp from the Japanese which suggests that contrary to popular belief the American leadership did see it coming. They choose to allow it to happen as it would energise a previously steadfastly anti war US populace.
Intentionally allowing things to happen or 'cooking up' evidence to start wars is not a new thing for the US political and military class.

It's the little eyebrow raise at the end for me. Great acting.
Horrible acting, and a poorly written scene. Looks like the fantasy of someone who spends 12 hours a day on Reddit.
