Pata hau bhai, itna difference nahi hota balki Bike ka engine oil jazada aacha hota hai, meri scooty ki smoothness or milage dono bhad gyi hai, sabhi bade CZcamsr yehi recommend karte hai ki Bike ka oil dalo

In TVs ntorq manual gear oil mentioned as same as engine oil 10w30, but in general gear oil is 80w90.. which grade to be used for ntorq as gear oil?
@Iswar Dahal thanks for ur reply. Tvs recommends so. And following same from last 10months. But brand changed to motul 10W30 ht tech ( same grade as tvs), same 1 L pack, 120 i will put in gear case and rest 880 in engine

Don't use 10w50, you are doing wrong with your engine. There will be more power loss when you are on highway.
At what time interval should we change the engine and gear oil?
For Minral oil its 1500-2000 kilometres for Semi synthetic oil it's 2500-3000 kilometres and for fully synthetic it's 4000-5000 kilometres and for gear oil you can change it every time you change Engine oil as it's very cheap

@@mrshorttube102 when u buy a new ntorq , you should change engine as well as gear oil after 30 days or 500-750 kms which every comes first, then company recommends oil change in 3rd service at aroun 8 months/5000-6000 kms again which ever comes first then u should be changing oil after 6000 kms and top up if less every 3000kms

Yes the company says to put the same oil as the engine oil, but that oil degrades very quickly, and performances is very poor, I used the 80W-90 because it's been specifically made for gearless scooters and for better performance and milage and low wear and tear

For better performance amd better milage, And the gear oil by castrol is specifically made for Gearless scooters with different Viscosity, the milage of my Ntorq has significantly improved since I'm using a better quality engine oil then what TVS uses

Bro, you can use motul 10W-30 3100 if you want to stick to the recommended grade of Engin oil, or you can use 5W-40 Scooter fully synthetic oil if you want a better performance engine oil. And after you change your engine oil and tje service sign shows up, you can hold both of the buttons on the Meter for 10-15 second and the service sign will be removed

Not after 500 kilometres bro, It depends on the oil you are using, if you're using mineral oil then you have to change between 1500-200 kilometres, for Semi synthetic oil it is 2500-3500 kilometres, and for fully synthetic the drain interval can be as long as 6000 kilometres 😀

Bro you can get the gear oil on any oil store, it's not available online, and Liqui moly scooter MB engine oil is also a great option for the price, but I'm not sure weather it's a fully synthetic or a Semi synthetic Engine oil but liqui moly haven't stated that, but I will for sure try out the Liqui moly engine oil on my next service and let you know my opinion and which is better

Bro, with the engine oil I am using I have seen many benifits, the engine dosen't heat up at all, and earlier with the company engine oil the Scooter used to heat up quite a bit, with the Motul engine oil I have seen improvements in the Milage also, earlier with the company Engine oil I got milage or around 39km/pl and now I'm getting around 44km/pl. The engine is running very smoothly. And due to the Higher viscosity of the engine oil the cold start has also gotten better I would recommend this 10w-50 5100 Semi synthetic oil over then Company engine oil
Using 10w50 is plain stupidity.
Dont mess with scooty engine. This will damage the engine in cold condition. Milage will be reduced. In scooty gear oil is engine oil. Use the info book.

Bro it's okay to use 10W-50 my ntorq is giving postive results, the cold starts are much better, the milage has improved, earlier it gave me 39km/pl and right now it's giving me around 44km/pl, and yes you can use the engine oil for the gear oil as well, but it is better to a Specific 80W-90 gear oil for gearless Scooters, you can look it up on CZcams or Google and eveyone will recommend using the 80W-90 gear oil, and no it will not damage the engine in cold riding condition because it's 10w-50 and not 0W-50, if you're commenting you may know that the first no. Of the Oil represent the Viscosity of the cold environment, and it's the same as 10W-30 which is recommended by TVS, I used 10W-50 because it tolerates more heat then 10W-30 is due to it being Semi synthetic, rather then Mineral based oil, the Scooty is smoother then before, I've ridden in fot 200KM on highway without any fuss and the engine didn't heat up at all. And semi Synthetic oil tends to keep their viscosity for longer periods of time as well, Overall it's completely fine to use 10W-50 and will not damage your scooty, and you should always use Specific gear oil for better performance 🙂🤝

Bro, it's more about preference, you can use either, I use my Scooty Harshly and Go on long Weekend rides and ride my Scooty 100kms non stop, so I use 80W-90 as it has better heat tolerance and more performance as it is specifically designed to suit gearless scooter

Bro I have a apache RTR 160 2V. The recommend engine oil grade is 10w30. Could I use 10W40 instead of 10W30. Is there any side effects which may occur in engine 😉.

Wow these oils are waayyyy off the charts. TVS recommended engine and gear oil are both 10W30. While 10W50 will be too thick while running, 80W90 will literally be too thick in both stopped or running conditions. Better change them before you damage the engine bro.

Do not use thick oil use 10w-30 only. Long term it will have issues. You can decrease the W rating like 0W,5W etc. But you must not increase the thickness of the oil from 30 to 50. What you are recommending is wrong

minerals last lesser than semi and semi lasts lesser than synthetic, generally synthetics are better than semi better than mineral in maintaining temps but it doesnt really matter for scooters
