I hope you take this in the most complementary way- I am 27 years old and to watch you is an art. It is so refreshing to see women aging naturally. I plan on aging naturally I feel like I am watching my favorite auntie teach me how to use makeup on my own skin that is changing as I get older. Sending love. ❤
Very sweet of you - of course I'll take it as a compliment!
I'm blown away by Merit products. I'm a decade older than you with dry sensitive skin prone to redness. This foundation stick cancels out redness while leaving my skin looking completely natural. It feels like nothing on the skin, doesn't cake or settle and does not dry out my face like all other foundations including Chanel, Cle de Peau, etc. I did not like the Tom Ford stick foundation or Westman Atelier as they were too heavy and greasy. They also made my face sting after a couple hours. The blush is gorgeous and super natural, easy to apply and very flattering. The lipstick is gorgeous, moisturizing and feels more high end than anything else in the luxury lines. No smell, no taste either which I like. Same with the lip tints. I haven't tried the mascara or brow gel yet because I recently purchased those but I will later on. I am on my third order from them and am awaiting the bronzer, highlighter and two more lip colors. The two brushes work excellently and are super soft. I have very expensive brushes from Japan made from the chest hair of baby goats and the Merit synthetic brushes are very very soft and comfortable for sensitive skin that turns red at the touch. The eye brush does not scratch, irritate or feel rough around my super sensitive eyes. The cream eyeshadow is silky soft and blends easily without any pulling and stays on without drying or fading. I just can't say enough about this line and will be abandoning all the high end makeup I've worn for decades. If you want a flattering natural moisturizing makeup that doesn't take much time to apply this is the line for you.
This is so so radiant and fresh, I love it! very tempted to purchase these products to try and recreate your look. I love the way you apply makeup as I personally don't like to wear anything heavy or strong, just natural with a bit of warmth! I've been eyeing the minimalist stick for a while now and this has convinced me to give it a go!
It looks fantastic! It’s so sweet hearing you talk to the new baby ❤️
Wow! This was SO natural and pretty! Loved how your eyes lit up when sweet Gracie came into your studio. 🐾🐶❤️
Thank you! Yes, I was surprised that I could look good with applying this way - but it really hits the "is she wearing makeup?" theme on the nose. Little Gracie is just sweet and it seems every day she's making progress!
I love to watch your videos. Your smile and voice makes me feel relaxed🥰
I'm so glad!!
A very pretty easy going comfortable makeup look
So pretty!
A beautiful look! Thank you. I do love Merit's Minimalist stick, their brow product, their blush and their new lipstick. But I'm so glad they increased the amount of product in their Minimalist stick. It's one of the few brands where I've found the perfect shade match with their Minimalist stick! I'm normally not swayed by packaging, but their mascara packaging is stunning and works beautifully for those of us with sensitive eyes.
It's always so great to find a perfect shade match!
@@TheHoodedLid Yes, a rare occurrence which must be savored!
Love that natural look. Great honest review. You look beautiful❤️
Thank you so much!!
Love this look, natural and glowy! You should definitely do a review of Jones Road, I have not purchased yet, but I am very curious about the brand.
Your skin so beautiful❤
Yes review Jones Road! You look fabulous!
Thank you! 😘
Loved this natural look!
Yay!
Finally a YT that focuses on natural looks who's advise applies to my style. Thank you! New subscriber.
Thanks for subbing!
Very pretty look! I would like to see you use Jones Road.
Oh wow, you're gorgeous! I've been dubious of stick foundations but really need to minimize liquids in my bag when I fly. Can't wait to try this lovely, natural makeup look.
Oh thank you!
Yes would love to see a review on Jones Road
Look very pretty.
I really like this look on you! You have such nice skin so you don't need much coverage. I have been trying a "no makeup makeup" which takes a lot more time than you would think!
I have the Jones Road WTF, a couple of their face sticks (can't remember the name) for concealing, and have tried the miracle balm. I really like the foundation and I think you might like it too. My favorite thing about it is that it wears really well - as in, yes, it fades a bit, but it does it evenly and doesn't gather anywhere. I didn't love the miracle balm because it stays kind of sticky and the color I tried was kind of sparkly. The foundation is definitely a light - maybe light to medium coverage, but I think it looks really pretty and natural. I'd love to see you try that brand.
It's so true - the no makeup makeup look does take longer! Thanks for the tips on Jones Road. Feel I missed the train on this - and saw many videos that didn't really impress me, but loved how fresh Tati looked (for a change - lol) so I might buy a few things!
Would love to hear your Jones Road impressions!
I’d love to see you do a Jones Road review! I’ve been wanting to buy that, but it’s pricey, so I’d need to know more to commit. Thanks!
I like merit products that I’ve used; will try the stick foundation & bronzer soon… looks like my go to vibe! Happy early birthday, hope you enjoy🎂
Thanks so much, Mel!
You look, very very nice! Love it! Elaine
Thank you so much!
Firstly, Thank you for your videos! After going down the rabbit hole of foundation sticks and if this was the one for me, I found the Tom Ford foundation stick. I’m curious to know if you have tried it and your thoughts on it? Thank you! ❤
It looks very blendable and pretty. I agree the foundation color is not quite right for you. Would love to see you in the correct shade!
Very pretty
Thanks for watching
How does the Merit stick compare to the Westman Atelier one?
I am 50 but have horrible skin that is very aged. I tried the minimalist but due to very dry skin it settled in my lines badly because it is so dry. There flush blush though is great and so moisturizing. I guess I can try the minimalist again and this time apply a major moisturizer first but I love the blush. Anyways would you recommend the bronzer for dry skin? Was it more moisture than the minimalist? Also you look terrific for your age ….younger than me at 50. I really enjoyed your merit video. Better than young girls videos. Thank you
Perfect look for transitioning seasons. Thank you for the review. And 🥰say hi to Gracie.
Will do!!
I usually never post comments but WOW!! You look so beautiful and I loved this video so much! Definitely going to check out Merit :)
Thank you so much!!
Oooh thanks for this review! I’ve been wondering how this works on similar skin tone and texture to yours. 😍
It’s a shame they haven’t replaced it yet! Maybe reach out to their instagram account? Too expensive to keep it broken without a replacement.
You're so welcome!
Love the look! I’m late to the game in regards to Merit.
My first dog was Gracie! 👱🏻♀️❤️🐶
awww...so sweet
I, too, use the by Terry powder. I think it blurs and takes down the shine but leaves the glow. Surprise I don’t hear more people mentioning it. ❤️❤️❤️Outro❤️❤️❤️
I'm surprised as well! Glad you liked the outro
I find the Bisque still too warm for my very cool skin tone. I wish they would make a medium cool shade. Love the bronzer!
It’s interesting how many reviewers say this formula is dry, but with my uber-dry skin, it might feel stiff on the stick when directly applied like this, but is not drying at all. It doesn’t enhance the crepiness around my eyes, or anything like that. Westman Atelier feels more creamy when rubbed on directly from the tube, but when blended in, it sucks all the hydration and moisture I’ve applied, appearing chalky, cakey, and impossible to blend.
Need to add that I much, much prefer to apply merit with my fingers - it’s what its made for - and the bronzer is the same way. They’re both too sheer to waste product on sponges & brushes, IMO.
Funny thing is, Merit’s lightest shade, Bone, is almost my (superficial) summer tan color, but definitely too dark if it were a full coverage base product. 😆 I might be able to use it during the winter as a light coverage color corrector under my eyes, but is definitely too dark for my entire face at that time of year, even with it as sheer as it is. I’d love for them to add a few more lightest, and darkest shades, as well as versions of varying colors with muted undertones. We aren’t all red, or yellow undertoned, or ratios if the two. Many of us need a more grey, and/or green, in the undertone.
Oh, and thanks!
I thought it looked great under the eyes! Didn't feel drying, and I also don't find that WA feels drying.
And, HAPPY BIRTHDAY🤗 I’m on your heels at 57. 🎈
Happy birthday!! and thank you!
Really pretty look, and the foundation went on so neutral which is great. I'm on the lookout for a new foundation so curious how it wore through the day? Did it settle in fine lines or dry down a lot? I'm a woman of a certain vintage as well! Happy Birthday beautiful!!
That day wouldn't have been a good test - the humidity has been insane in Los Angeles and I don't have a/c. Lasted okay until I started sweating, then all bets were off - lol
Beautiful look as usual Kiki 💜. I've been curious about merit's complexion stick and their lipstick. If you had to pick one, do you prefer the new Chanel complexion touch or the Merit for a natural end result?
Impossible to choose , they are so different. The Chanel is a faster application and I feel the color is better for me if that's helpful at all.
That looks so moist and fresh on your skin! What is your skin care routine ?
I just posted it yesterday - take a look!
Great review! How do the bronzer color compare to the Westman Atelier powder bronzer and contour stick biscuit? Can you swatch all 3 next to each other? Thanks 🙏🏻
I don't have the WA powder, but this is warmer than Biscuit, which I prefer as a contour.
I love this makeup on you. It looks so lovely and natural. Yes, on Jones Road. I'd love to see that on you.
Jones rd YES!,,,,
What face prep do you do. ? You look so glowy
check out my anti aging am program posted around Dec or Jan
Very pretty look. I really like your esthetic.
I like Merit products-bonus is less chemicals (that have been banned in Europe and other countries)
Wow so beautiful! We love the same foundations and sunscreens so I really trust your judgement. Even though I’m 30+ years younger. How does the foundation stick last? Did you do a wear test since?
It wore fine - but, it's a bit of a drudge to apply. I think it was created to hit red or dark areas - but I have a lot of red to have to apply all-over. If you don't you may like it.
@@TheHoodedLid ah got it! Yea I tried it as concealer yesterday. It wore so well!
Drag makeup? 😂 ooh you are spicy!!! I agree that she looks better with less makeup though. I don’t think you will like the JR foundation but I look forward to seeing your video on it. Great video!
❤️
Would love for you to check out Jones Road and do reviews
I absolutely love their lipsticks and they’ve turned into my favorite formula. I’m really curious about the bronzer and blush but the word “balm” deters me.
Once I rubbed this into my arm, it felt dry to the touch. On the face, I didn't get that odd, heavy feeling. They may have used the word "balm" more to indication that it's sheer rather than the formula.
@@TheHoodedLid Oh that’s great to know! Then I think I’m sold.
Very French girl chic.
How ARE you 😉🤠😜
That stick foundation was the biggest rip off. Glad they fixed it…
