Problem with Tifa, she worries about everything and puts her own self down.
This is something Aerith tried to teach her in original she needs to be confident, optimistic especially when dealing with men. and energy behind the team especially after she gone.

Cloud change in the original after life stream gives her needed energy and positivity she needed. I hope this game shows this like how he was with Yuffie date. That dork there at time is the real Cloud.

It is nice to look at this scene remembering how in the future, in Advent Children, in the fight against Behemoth, it is Tifa who will tell Cloud with depression "don't give up". The perfect couple, which always support each other
Dang, that was REALLY well said for Cloud! Are we sure his mind is breaking in this game?
This actually shows how his mind is shattered. There is 3 personas trying to control his mind. His real self (which is dead last), his SOLDIER self (which is barely winning) and the JENOVA cells in his body (aka the Sephiroth visions and the Cloud at the gongaga reactor (which is rapidly gaining power). Tifa is special to him in the fact that around her, his real self seems to be able to merge with his SOLDIER self which is why he is always a lot gentler and kinder around Tifa then anyone else

I can’t tell if Cait says this just because that’s what he’s thinking or if he’s doing it for the God Tier assist to Cloud.
The reason it might be an assist is because he immediately looks straight at Cloud after saying it and he is rooting for Cloud and Tifa to get together like Yuffie is
On the other hand, it may just be Cait being Cait because Reeve doesn’t dislike them but he isn’t their friends and he is known to be serious and matter of fact

Chapter 12! Its when you're searching every square for Dio, a companion will be at most locations but if you find the correct one first you'll miss out on dialogues like this one
@@nalakahi Yeah, that happened with me, I just assumed Dio would be at battle square so that's where I went.
Chapter 12 and she's on skywheel square you should head there before heading to battle square

Huh, I missed this interaction.
It's amazing how gentle and loving Cloud is with Tifa.
I'm Cloti, and I don't think the whole Aerith thing is genuine, but I do feel Rebirth did Aerith dirty. They made the ending too grand, bombastic, and convoluted, and unless you really buy into the idea that there was some special connection between Cloud and Aerith that just doesn't work because it becomes pretentious. But the problem is that the game never showed that connection with Aerith, instead Tifa got all these scenes, meaning that the ending comes across as though it's riding on the bond we have with Aerith, not through THIS game, but through all the other games. But that is cheap, it is essentially fourth wall breaking. It's not shown as bombastic as it is because that level of bombasticness fits how Cloud would experience it. But because WE, the player experience it like that.
Instead of showing Aerith develop a bond with Cloud, the most genuine bond we see her build, is with Tifa.
I mean her and Tifa were essentially bffs at this point so to say the most genuine bond Aerith had was with Tifa isn't exactly wrong is it?. I honestly felt the complete opposite. Most of the game seems to be pushing in the direction of Cloud/Tifa. Alot of non optional / canon scenes reinforced their connection deepening. I also thought that it showed Tifa trying really hard for Cloud, you can tells she has very strong feelings for him. Contrast that with the ending chapters where it does a full 180 and shows alot of tender and intimate moments between Cloud and Aerith. I genuinely think Cloud has feelings for both of them but it also important to remember he is severely fucked in the head. I doubt he even has the ability to love someone at this point in the story.
I agree it felt like a 180 in the end and in this game aerith feels way more closer to tifa then cloud but aerith didn't but leave any comforting words fir her or tell cloud anything to reassure the others shes okay she only singled out cloud there's also something else that's bothering me that's non aerith related and it's Clouds "friendship" with Zack they haven't shown anything to suggest they were these close friends
@@TheInferno0099Cause he doesn’t remember. That’s the simplest answer to give really. Zack as a whole seems to trigger strong reactions anytime someone brings him up or says his name or even the Buster Sword. He remembers him more when they go to Nibelheim but only enough to remember they were friends and that they were there together and how he “died” but his memory still is not quite right
That’s funny actually because I’ve heard the opposite take a few times
