Have done two belt and roller changeouts by now. Mitch is very good...i was a complete newbie to cvt transmissions before.

Hola,, el caso es que cuando intento aflojar la tuerca de la tapa de afuera me es imposible,, esta durisima,, pero me e dado cuenta que por el lado derecho donde el tubo de escape la tuerca también da vueltas y no se si irá en conjunto o no,,, por sujetar ambos lados o no tiene nada que ver,, no se si me podéis ayudar,,

thanks for the videos, big help. One tip. work with bike on center stand. remove lower shock bolt and push shock back. lowers engine and makes cover easy to remove and install.

Hey Mitch, Great videos. It seems that my 2010 Piaggio BV 250 clutch? isn't disengaging. Sometimes I can't push it backwards or forwards. Also, I'm having a difficult time finding someone who is confident to work on it in the Monrovia, CA area. Any suggestions?
Hi Tom, thank you! It sounds like your clutch shoes are wore out... remove the clutch housing to check the shoes... you could try modernvespa.com

Could be brake disc or head stud bearings in the steering

Hi Mitch! I need some advice please?.. I have a 2011 piaggio fly 125 which started having a slight issue.. while almost coming to a complete stop, there is a flapping sound coming from the rear of the engine. The sound is like flicking a piece of paper with your finger. But this sound only happens when you the scooter is coming to a complete stop. The sound is louder when the scooter is cold and when it has warmed up, the sound is not so pronounced.. any ideas?

Hi Mitch. Love your videos. I have something bad going on inside the gearcase or maybe the clutch. not sure which but sometimes when i take off it makes a horrible sound like my kickstand is dragging on the ground but its not. Sometimes with the sound it jerks a bit for a few feet. Only occasionally and more so when its hot outside. Other times it runs smooth, quiet and perfectly. Do you have any idea what may be causing this noise?

Hey thank you so much! Hmm sounds like your clutch pads are gone… here’s old video czcams.com/video/JNYsSdWp7ug/video.html I posted long time ago how to inspect the clutch pads… pads should be 2-4mm thick. How many miles on yours?
@@MitchsScooterStuff I have close to 9000 miles on it. All original stuff in it. Where can i order new clutch pads? Like I said 99% of the time it runs like a new bike. Once in awhile i get that noise on takeoff just like my kickstand is dragging on the cement. I check and it is up. Could clutch pads make that terrible metalic sound?

it enters via duct but where does it exit?
There's an opening to the rear of and below the clutch. Basically, just a square hole, I believe.

Bonjour sur l'embrayage vous avez pas les ailettes c'est le même moteur que le x8 x9 125 150 sa chauffe pas du coup.
Moi mon x8 2004 jai lever les ailettes l'écrou 46 ne rentre pas comme il faut est ce que il y a un risque de cassée.

In my scooter there’s too much noise coming from clutch box I already changed belt, clutch shoe, clutch shoe bearing but still noise coming like motor.will you give me solution?

I don't agree on using a screwdriver to hammer with. Steel into alloy means the alloy will mar or become damaged. Either some wood, brass bar, or something else softer would be better.
Forever....maybe put it in your own how-to video. This guy is as good as it gets for us, and most of us know not to beat soft stuff with harder things using much force.

Step 1. Show me how to get the bloody fairing off! Fark me!. Ok so manage to get to 3:50 with the farings on, but just cant pull the cover off over the oil inlet (yes the cap is off). Jiggle, Jiggle jiggle last 3 hrs. So frustrating.
