As a Traditionalist Catholic who would never attend a Novus Ordo Mass and is faithfully observant to the Tridentine Latin Mass, I have to say the Ambrosian Rite which dates to the 4th century AD is the most stunningly beautiful Mass for ALL the Western Rites. It's so beautiful it's comparable to the Byzantine Liturgy.

It is such a loss that most priest, post Vatican II, are utterly lost to the knowledge and understanding of what they are actually doing at the altar. I am not arguing that we have an invalid Mass now, as God is able to work through the most crude of instruments - clearly. Still, the difference is glaring. No where currently in a typical Mass, seen at your average parish, is the actual power of the Mass seen so visibly. For the most part, only those individuals who have really taken the time and effort to actually understand each part of the Mass (including those parts that are missing), can truly appreciate what they are witnessing, and in fact in union with.
The Holy Roman Catholic Church has about 26 Rite's of the Mass. Why must we be forced to attend the Novus Ordo that resembles nothing of the One True God?
Because people would abandon the ugly one for the better one. They force you to sing stupid songs and laugh at stupid jokes so that we'd attract people who'd hate the Church anyway.

Glorious worship, stunningly beautiful. This week I was in Rome and was near the Pantheon but simply did not have time to go in. I also celebrated the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in St. Peter's, twice. "theone1087" spouts repugnant arrogant error, and is not a true Catholic. True Catholics worship and are faithful to our Lord and the teaching of His Church, and NOT a particular form of the Mass. Quit spreading dissension and division, "theone" You will be held accountable.
The charismatic happy clappy songs have spoiled the liturgy and even protestants and anglicans friends are shocked !!!! The pope should better have a look at it

Yes great but this is ambrosian's rite. Founded by S. Ambrosius of Milan. And nowadays still using in Lombardy and Milan. We not use Roman's rite.
The novus ordo is not a rite, it's a non-rite.
