Most of the referees in most elite sports are a "mates and dates" club. Meaning it's nepotism central, all the husbands, wives etc of established personalities receive cushy positions or skip selection criteria for roles. Do some critical thinking, because you're as dense as Osmium.

Let's be honest here, Kasey Badger is an awful ref. Her being in the bunker is even worse. She has one look and that's it decision made. I feel like she shouldn't be involved in reffing anymore. There are a ton of other better refs than her.
Reffs need to be held to the same standard as players and coaching staff. If they're incompetent then they should get the sack and Kasey badger is hopeless
I remember the League Olympics in 78. They probably wouldn’t be allowed to call it that these days. It was a fun watch. I think Corowa, Gartner Rogers we’re 1, 2 and 3 in the 100m. He final event was the team relay. You had to include a certain number of p,Ayer’s from the previous week so it was forwards as well as backs. Captains had to run the anchor league. Great watching Steve Edge bring home the Dragons holding off being run down. Dragons were not known as a particularly fast team but their forwards were very quick. John Jansen once stayed with Steve Rogers in an 80m chase to the try line.

Gus probably wont read this. But i think the high scoring games is from teams getting in form. A lot of movement means they needed to learn how to play with one another. The brisbane broncos lost so many players between 2023 ans 2024 its hard to call it the same team. The results show that.

Yep its basic risk management. Doesn't mean she would ever intentionally be impartial but the risk is inevitable under such a scenario. Change the scenario, eliminate the risk.

Criticise all of them, every week the same refs make howlers. We need a relegation/promotion system with referees. Players don’t perform, they get dropped.. Coaches don’t perform literally lose their jobs 😅
