I think a good question to have asked them would be "what is something that the other person did that hurt you?" because they're exes for a reason and very often, people hold on to some form of resentment towards people that exited their life but previously held a very important space. This'll give them a chance to clear the air and really gauge whether there's any point in trying again or if it's doomed

My most recent ex and I are on pretty bad terms right now. We last saw each other almost 4 months ago and had dated for 5 months prior to that. Part of me hopes that if I were to send her this video she would want to reconnect. In those 5 months, I fell for her faster and harder than I'd ever fallen for anybody. We talked about plans for our future, met each others friends and families (granted I met hers over facetime since shes from Brazil originally and they're not here with her), and really got to know the good and the bad in both of us. She was everything I could have asked for and more, kind, intelligent, funny, and beautiful. She has a smile that can light up a room and piercing eyes and it made me feel like a million bucks that when she would walk in a room and every eye was on her, she was only looking at me. They say that when you've met the person who was meant for you, you know. I'm not saying it was love at first sight, but when we went on our first 3 dates in a matter of 10 days, the 3rd date being her 30th birthday, I think I knew. Who in their right mind goes to dinner with someone they've known for 10 days on their birthday? Especially a milestone like their 30th?! I hope and pray that we'll find our way back to each other like these two did. Best of luck to both of you!
