My grandfather had a 97 3rd GEN forerunner it took 225,000 miles and a bunch of rust to kill it and even after that the engine still didn’t burn oil not to mention it was probably still drivable but the shop wanted to take it anyway. Lol these damn mechanics.

Congratulations! The 1st.Gen CRV came with a B20b & B20z. You should talk about 1st. Gen TSX, aka Euro R. Also talk about the Toyota Matrix Xrs w/180hp & Corolla Xrs. 2ZZGE is a banger

I currently have a 1st gen 2009 Mazdaspeed 3 and its a really fun car to drive. I don't even drive fast and I can already feel the torque steer that the speed community talks about. I got it pre modified, but I'm planning to put a few more mods and get it dyno tuned to keep it as safe and reliable as possible for how the car is.

Kinda surprised you never mentioned the mr2 spyder in any of these videos. They are definitely not as sporty as the other 2 mr2s but their definitely good options that you can easily find under 10k, not to mention no snap over steer

Idk maybe the car is a bit underpower for what ppl in states are used, but for european 140 hp is honestly okayish, under a ton, rwd, engine at the back of the car. On YT there’s a bunch of video of ppl building turbo kit on em so u might be able to get these car up to 230 hp and more…
Around 10k€ in France for a clean one with 80 miles (everything is overprice in France but chill lmao).
The 2nd phase (with facelift) is a bit better and reliable (6 speed gear box as well).
I’m currently looking to buy one ! It’s one of the few car that i’m 100% sure i’ll work on it to improve the look and the performances
I’ve mentioned it in some vids, but it’s surprisingly expensive tbh
First Gen crv comes with a b20z with 148hp it’s the second Gen with the K24, still great engine tho can’t take as much power and quite slow stock but it’s a b series so can’t really complain, I used to own one and I loved it the manual transmissions in those things are great

Me personally? I like the 350z the best, always have but I think most ppl would say something like a Honda or Toyota for your scenario

19:04 usdm a70/mk3 supras come with the 7M not the 1j, it's a 3.0 I6 that has a turbo option. Good power plant but nowhere near as much support as the jz's sadly. JDM a70 has the 7m, 1g, or 1j. Transmission wise it's either a 4spd auto or 5spd w58 or r154 (as seen in the mk4) manual swaps are particularly expensive because Clutch pedals and how many people need r154's for jz swaps. In the US the mk3 turbos had the r154 and NA had w58. There are also some minor and major differences between the Kouki (86-88) and Zenki (89-92)
Honda CRV 1st gens only came with the B series. K series started from the 2nd gen which was from 2001

are the sedan g37 the same level as the coupes
I believe they’re exactly the same, maybe a tad bit heavier but besides that they’re the same I’m pretty sure
Instead of saying what I usually say (I think it would just be annoying at this point, plus you did a good bad and ugly on it that got like 2k views), I'm gonna "spoil" the end of this video. 350z...biased yes, but if it had 4 "useable" seats, and the community wasn't so prone to destroying these, I would want one. As it stands, the Honda Accord coupe is my favorite JDM car, though I would also like an RSX. 270 hp out of the gate at its peak, faster than a V6 Camaro of the time, great manual or automatic transmission, K24 as an option, great looks, and plenty of space.
The community sucks w the z, and trust me bro, your solara love is not annoying. Any car guy understands completely that we all have that one car we just LOVE, for me it’s the 350z, for you it’s the solara. And the accord coupe is sick asf I love it
