this tears my heart to shreds. i remember seeing brown bird at the radio bean when i was maybe 18 and falling in love. i saw them perform in vermont many times since, and even worked a couple shows with them at higher ground. when i had the opportunity to see huntress at signal kitchen i almost lost my shit when they played this. so powerful. im so jaded to a lot of live music after years in the industry, but this still touches my soul in ways i cant describe.
i was at Concord's outdoor Market Days festival the past two days, and there were musical acts all over the place... and yet THIS was the only band I saw knock us all out.
even more impressive, they were the last act of the night on main street, and yet all the elderly folk stayed and were GROOVING to the doomy beauty of this band!
I'm glad to see this chick still doing her thing.
Nice. The original version is one of my favourite Brown Bird songs. Great to see it reimagined.

Saw them this past Sunday night with Lucero and Flogging Molly. really enjoyed their set. Very happy to add another incredible band to my rotation.
