I’m no expert but I think it’s for tire grip. Higher rotations can have less grip I think... if that’s true then definitely wouldn’t want that at the beginning of a race.

@@Lucas-Stl yeah it's just how race theory works it's smarter to use nos when exciting a corner in games where you can get more nos however in real life it's better to activate nos after wheel spin had stopped and you have traction
