- Join the whole family for a Disney dining review from Sanaa in Kidani Village at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. This was a special dinner as Taylor and Cory celebrate their birthday! We start with the famous Indian-style bread service, and sample some of the different flavor packed meat and vegetable offerings.
About Sanaa:
Savor slow-cooked meats, salads and vegetarian specialties as you discover African cooking with Indian flavors.
Step inside this exquisite, East African-inspired eatery, which evokes a traditional spice market, decorated with handcrafted wares under the graceful branches of an acacia tree.
Start your meal with Indian-style bread service with 9 accompaniments, from sweet mango chutney to spicy red chile sambal.
For your entrée, select from tender meats and seafood slow-cooked in gravy-such as butter chicken-as well as vegetarian dishes. A range of sampler platters lets you choose a variety of flavors, and kid-friendly fare like fish, beef burgers, and pizza is sure to please even the pickiest of palates.

We were surprised how much our family enjoyed our meal at Sanna. Our teens and younger kids enjoyed it too! We tried it for the first time last month. We will definitely be returning the next time we are at WDW. It was amazing to meet you, Stephanie and your girl right after your visit. Your only regret is not getting a selfie with you. Thanks for all you do!! You help keep the magic alive when we’re back at home.

Video and pictures don’t do justice to the Sanaa experience. When you first arrive you’re surprised by how humble and simple the restaurant is, then you start paying attention to your surroundings. Beautifully carved chairs, tables, ceiling artwork, wall lanterns, windows, the Savannah just outside. And just like that, you’ll feel in a different land.
The bread service is a must! I know $18 for bread and condiments sounds expensive, but it is not. The breads are all different. All warm and soft. The aromas from all the spices baked right in the breads hits your nose and you’re all the way in!
Condiments are all amazing. So many different flavors, aromas, “moving parts”.
The Potije may look simple and not enough, make no mistake. They are delicious! Layers upon layers of flavors from various spices and herbs all brought together with luscious coconut milk.
The cast members are excellent as well! Take time to converse with them. They have so many ideas, suggestions and information about AKL.
Wish Boston had a Sanaa restaurant!
I have to admit that I’ve watched several videos on Sanaa before, but this is the only video that has made me want to try anything besides the bread service.
I’ll be booking Sanaa for our next trip.

It’s my favorite restaurant in all of wdw. I’ve eaten there more than any other place in wdw which is saying something because I’ve been going since 1978

That looks very tasty. When we finally get back to Orlando /WDW from the UK now in sept 2021 I think we would like to eat here. We have 3 meat eaters and a vegetarian so this looks very tasty for us all.

This is a fantastic dining review! :) I havent been able to visit sanaa in quite sometime that i forgot what the bread service tasted. :) but i now have a coconut allergy and i know that a lot of african-indian vegetarian dishes for me is made with coconut.. but going for the bread service again! :)

Dan is the first to guest appearance on my channel and any friend of his is a friend of mine. I grew up in the disabled world, and this community has truly changed my life for the 2nd time, and the first after I became a CM/CP & was accepted for the first time. I grew up in a very isolated childhood, with no friends, so at 24 this is a whole new normal for me to adjust too!
If your girls love pizza, as a DS cast member, I recommend visiting Wolfgang Puck Express for their wood-fired pizza and pasta. Great value and location is set right in the middle of the Marketplace and nearby my cm home! :)
