It makes me so happy knowing he's stayed true to his sound that us peeps in our 40's know and love. I cannot get into that hard electro/ big room stuff of today. Just doesn't do it for me like my man Steve does. His sets are fire, destroy's it every time.

My most memorable party night was in 2016 Feb with Steve Lawler in South Beach, Mexico. The music, the vibe and everything else (wink wink) were so perfect & awesome. I danced till 7am; it was a beautiful journey that felt like a brief euphoric moment. I am sure you guys felt like that at some point in your life. .

THAT second hour! Been listening to Steve for decades and he still delivers.
I can't believe Steve Lawler came to play at a small hostal rooftop and we were less than 100 people. Parties were not really autorised because *you all know why*. Access cost 15 usd but I paid only 5. Yes, it was amazing. He was particularly good that night in Playa del Carmen.
Ima give it to you straight. I’ve seen Steve 6 times, all in the US. I say that because I’m 100% positive he’s put on better sets globally more than the Midwest. Having said…he’s consistently the best dj I’ve ever seen. Is he the best dj ever? Probs not, but he absolutely reads his audience and plays to the vibe he’s subjected to. Do NOT let the lame audience standing around in a haze deter you from thinking that he doesn’t rip the scene to shreds. He’s literally commanded the set literally every show I’ve seen. I’ve been introduced to him when he was tits up wrecked on drugs, I’ve met him during a set in NYC…I will confirm that he’s been a class act on and off the scenes. I believe he’s definitely matured in his years and appreciates his audience more now than ever. None of this should affect how unparalleled his live sets consistently are. Especially in Ibiza…?! Never mind CZcams. He absolutely wrecks live.

I remembered Steve Lawler from 2003 in Beirut and later maybe 2007 or 09. One of the few in HOUSE MUSIC.

It’s quite sad really...a great set with perfect transitions and a wicked selection of tracks to be wasted on these so called party goers, it seems that the youth of today just don’t get the vibe like we did back in the late eighties early - mid nineties, whether it be the drugs or what I just don’t know, if this set was played back then the place would be jumping, search any rave from late eighties - mid nineties And you will see, brilliant set by Steve lawyer , the best of Birmingham ✌🏼😎
