In my build of branded tears i use branded in high spirits because it discards for effect, sends a fusion monster(d.3.s.frog) and searches kitt or ecclesia.
that same card allows you to send an isizu card to grave to send construct, which later allows you to summon winda. Splashing branded cards on the isizu version is solid if you go first or your opponent doesn't side D. Barrier. Swapping branded cards with go second ones is advised after you win any of the first two duels.
High spirits is hilarious and i love it, just doesn't feel as value in non-albaz typed decks

Tbh, a Tearalament trap can recover you from getting DRNM/Droplet'd, so you're not completely hopeless.

I do recommend running double masquerade if the despia count is high enough, because you can actually make both pretty easily if you mill tragedy
For Combo 1, wouldn't it be better to get Reinohart with the field spell that way you get another body on board and could easily go into Kaleidoheart this turn or next turn, granted you got the trap for search

I think that the pure or mixed with synchro/P. U. N. K. builds are better, since this way the deck can use other extra deck monsters than just fusions, while the branded version has a bigger risk. In branded builds, you got the "branded fusion problem", where you can easily die because of d barrier and in the same time you must play only fusion monsters in your extra deck, because otherwise the deck will not be that consistent, not to mention that d barrier is a dark ruler no more while you play only fusions.
What about Lightsworns? Can they perform well in a mix with tearlaments? Could you test Lightsworn tearlaments in your live stream? Also, what about Eldlich Tearlaments? Will it be a thing?

It's hilarious I'd use use any of the monster that can be subbed as any fusion material the new dark world fusion can be funny it's not very strong but it's something that can make a opponent go neg 1

@@anthonyamato8019 nah bro its probably the worst way to play the deck, branded fusion alone doesnt grant u more value than foolish for example, but it locks u in fusions only so u lose to the same cards as despia, so u might as well just play despia

@@grovesy333 I get that, I also understand and get that people want old yugioh back as well. I'll admit I miss the old days, but I know the way yugioh is now in 2022 is what we got and the old days are over. Personally I play online, or I just play at locals for fun never been the competitive type. Yeah I built swordsoul and floowandereeze, but mainly because I like them and I find them fun to play. Right now I'm working on phantom knights, always loved the archetype just never got the chance to build them until now.

@@grovesy333 yeah I understand, as a combo deck player I do try and make my turns quick. But unfortunately I'm still learning most of mine, so I usually have to stop and read or make sure I'm not messing up.

Still waiting for you to make a video about how easy it is to put out Ido with the new branded trap so people start buying them from me đ€Ł Imagine these boards but you make the Lubellion using Ido, then you banish the main deck monster left on the field with Mirrorjade, sending Albion, during the end phase you use Albion to set Branded Expulsion. During your opponent's standby phase you tribute one of the fusions, summon back the tearalament that activates on summon to your field for its effect, and give your opponent Ido, which says they cannot summon monsters. It's game over for them.
What is Ido? Couldnât make the connection đ
@@MetalPunxs666 Old card from 2007. Ido the supreme magical force. It's a level 6 dark fiend monster that reads "You cannot summon monsters. You can only control 1 "Ido the supreme magical force". If this card is destroyed by a card effect and sent to the graveyard, special summon it during the next Standby phase and destroy all other monsters you control."
It's a card that is busted if you can get it on your opponent's field, especially if you can summon it in defense during their standby phase, since they can't even crash it that way. They can't tribute it, they can't link over it, they can't do anything with it, aside maybe use Droplets, Darkhole, or something like Dragonic Diagram, which let you pop a card on your field. Effects that let you destroy your own monsters are pretty hard to come by.
In the OCG there were a few people running Teralaments/branded/Ido. You can easily get Ido to the graveyard through either milling or Branded Fusion into Lubellion since it is a dark monster. Then all you need is to set Branded Expulsion, which you have easy access to through sending Albion to set a Branded trap during your end phase.
Your opponent can't even DD crow it to get around it, since Expulsion resummons targets that are banished or in grave.
It may also see some play when Darklords get their boost, because it is a dark fiend, which they have ways to summon to their opponent's side of the field.
@@JustPeterSteel You can dd crow it because it still targets, and if you dd crow the ido it's no longer the same target, even if it could special from the gy or banished zone

@@alfian4653 That being said, if you're playing against Tearalaments Branded, if you have 1 crow, and they start with the Tearalaments play, at least on the first game you're quite unlikely to hold onto the crow for your standby phase. And if you do use the crow on Ido, then you're letting them get a lot of value out of the rest of their plays. Therefore it is at least a good crow bait.
