Robbed by hysterical reactions by DJ and others in the final. The same DJ that won the previous season with a back piece that didn’t cover the whole back and was a surreal image. Almost like he wanted his friend to win 😂. Fast forward a few months and DJ and Bobby are doing a piece together on instagram.
Freddie was literally the best artiste of the season. He was ROBBED!!!
His style is sick, and his technical ability to draw and tattoo anything is insane. His tattoos are world class over even some of the judges work imo. The way they hated on his second final leg (black and grey) because it was too artistic and provocative. Wow what a bunch of true artists. Hating on him for doing something they would never have the balls to do. That tattoo is a masterpiece, all of his work is.
Your argument of them hating is a double-edged sword. The art was meant to be proactive to elicit those reactions... otherwise, he would have failed at provoking them. Respect to him for doing what he wanted despite probably knowing it would cost him. In the grand scheme of things in terms of consistency and what we understand about tattoos, the right person won in a very close battle. However, that does not mean the goalpost won't shift or that Freddie isn't the more revolutionary artist. The show isn't only about being a revolutionary though.
It’s crazy that he didn’t win. His technical ability, composition, creativity and application is all on point. The only thing where he might be lacking is catering to judges tastes. He’s probably the most obvious winner in all of the shows history, and he didn’t win. Embarrasing.

They messed up NOT choosing Freddie!! He had the BEST tattoos every time. I’m honestly shocked that Ryan didn’t get the feminine rage tattoo he did. I LOVE it- i thought it was a great concept of how women need to “be beautiful” within standards and how often us being angry/mad is looked down upon, hidden- but can be so beautiful and moving if used correctly.
As a woman I personally hated that weird woman tattoo, but like the one dude said that’s what true art is supposed to be - polarizing! I respect Freddie immensely for that

I hope you read this Freddie: Your work is *amazing*! I love that you push the boundaries of art and tattooing! Your style is playful and interesting and so colorful! I feel like a lot of the other artist's work is dull and flat compared to yours.
His artwork doesn't look like tattoos, his artistry is crazy good!
He killed it this season. I was rooting for both him and Bobby. I didn’t mind who won as long as if it was one of them. The only tattoos that weren’t great that he did was the hybrid animal and the horse, but the rest were really good.

Freddie is my favorite tattoo artist from the entire show. His style and application are off the charts when he has the reins. Honestly, I do understand the judges about his second finale tattoo. It makes me uncomfortable, personally. But still! He needs a win! Bring this man back
Freddie is my personal favourite tattoo artist that has been on ink master, his design is so different and so interesting. Even his worse tattoo (the naked woman one) was still amazing.
Speaking as an artist, Freddy's designs are pretty amazing. The western one was a bit rough, but as a collection of images, freakin cool. I would like to see more from him.

26:43 I love how the proportions on her additionally infantilize her (its the proportions of a todler) while also sexualizing her without having her come off as a child, she is put on display with no bodily autonomy and no control, powerless like a child is treated but sexualized and objectified. her anger scratched and covered as much as possible, the part of her that reminds you she is human is distorted, her eyes are blocked as much as possible, I love it so DAMN MUCH.

I love Freddie's work and would be so grateful to ever have a chance to be tattooed by him. I love his 2nd master canvas. Art is supposed to disturb the comfortable and comfort the disturbed and as a woman, I get it. He was robbed, and DJ saying how Freddie's 2nd piece made him want to vomit is hysterical after the back piece that won him his 3rd ink master title. Both are uncomfortable and interesting works of art. If anyone should appreciate that kind of thing it should be DJ but he was more worried about helping his friend win.
