Very useful video, I received an e-mail from the US Embassy in Manila. "You are now eligible to schedule a visa interview at the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines. ", status reads READY. After 7 months wait from USCIS. We're going forward with the DS-160 now. My gf/fiancé is also from Cebu City and coming here to the US also. How are you liking the US? 20:21 You would want to put yes here because after your medical you will have all the vaccination necessary to enter the U.S. Before your interview you should have been through medical already with documentation stating you have been vaccinated.
I understand sir., I was just honest that I haven’t had vaccination in accordance with the US law that very moment when I filled out the form, thats why I put there Pending for medical exam, because I was going to have or start my medical exam yet.
They do understand that I could not have my medical exam done if I didn’t have ds-160 submitted first.
Submit ds-160 first before medical exam and interview.
It’s understandable that during the interview, I had all the medical results already on their hands which is the US law as part of requirement. 😊

13:21 right there on the form it says help immediate relatives and clearly says fiancé/fiancée so I would think you would list the person you are marrying who lives in the United States.
Yes sir just click the fiance, it is included on the immediate relatives. Click yes on that.
I did mine in a different way, just lucky that it was still accepted. 😊😊😊
Thank you so much for the instruction. I have few questions. As the petitioner , can I fill the ds160 for my fiancé since she doesn’t speak must English? Or can I help her fill it out over the phone then saved it before submitting it so that i can review on my end ? And last question can I validate the payment fee on my end as the petitioner ? Is it possible to save every step and come back to it later ?
Yes absolutely, you as the petitioner can fill it out , just to help fiance. But much better you’re both on the phone so you could work on it correctly together . You may save it first and come back later to submit the form. And there is no payment fee for ds-160 form or submission. You only pay for the visa by the time your beneficiary fiance is scheduling for the visa interview. 😊
Hello, may i ask what date to put in employement date to in the portion work/educatio/training/, because am still working until now. How do you interpret this * Employement Date To cannot be equal to or later than today. Thank you and hope you can help me.

13:04 on the right side it says fiancé is an immediate family membrer. So shouldn’t we tick YES in that question since its a fiance visa ?
Hi sis., yes sis you may answer yes to that question. No problem with that. I did mine differently knowing immediate relatives are parents and siblings, I answered no, but fortunately I never had problems about it and during the interview. Might have mislooked that note at the right side heheh kami dalawa ni fiance noon virtually nag fill out the form we had same thoughts , but on Ds160 the immediate is including the fiance. I have two friends also who did the same , answered No to that question, and never had problems, they just got here in the US.
So yeap, you may tick yes to that. 😊
Hi what is the 2 case numbers that it asks for at the end of the application? It asks for a case number and a NVC receipt number. Where do I find those?
Hello, you would find those on the Welcome Letter that you have received from the Embassy. They usually send the email copy to the petitioner’s email address once the case status online is “Ready”. 😊

Excellent Video! I have an off the wall question. My Fiance has been notified that the Embassy in Manila is ready to schedule her interview, medical exam, etc. So we're nearing the end of a long process that began 14 months ago. Unfortunately, Murphy's Law has kicked in. She has developed a health issue that may cause her to fail the Medical exam. She's having tests run and seeing doctors to find the cause, before going to St. Lukes. My question for you is how can we wait from the time the Embassy notifies us to fill out the DS-160 and schedule the interview and Medical? I've read that the Medical expires in 6 months, and I seem to recall we have 6 months to use the K-1 Visa once its issued. But I can't find the time requirement to submit the -160 and Medical plus interview? Hopefully you've seen the requirement in your research.
Hi., I’m sorry to hear that., I understand that you’re looking for the right timing to start working on the visa., I’m not sure what letter did the embassy send to your fiance, is it the KFTP? Or the Welcome Letter ?
You may want to check her/your case status first online at egov uscis. See if the case says “In-Transit” or if it says case “Ready “.
If it says “Ready”, that’s the time you should start submitting DS-160, and print the confirmation page.
Then start scheduling for medical, payment, print confirmation page.
Then set schedule for interview, print confirmation page, thn payment.
The instructions for setting the visa interview is written on the Welcome Letter, thru links.😊
Hi. What if you apply for your D160 FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY. WHAT WILL BE YIUR RESPONSE FOR THE QUESTION “HAVE YOU EVER TRAVELED TO ANOTHER COUNTRY” SHOULD I SAY YES THEN I PUT THE COUNTRY AM IN ?
Just say yes po. If it doesn’t specify what country, then say yes. But if it specifies the US, then say No if you haven’t visited the US yet. 😊

Yes sis you can fill out the form, just save it. And when your case status says “Ready” , having received the welcome letter, pwede mo na submit ang ds160 sis. 😊

I didn't click on the palmflit is that a problem and after clicking on those boxes is there another signing because I click to on the box to accept my intent to marry and I type my passport number is there another sign apart from that because I click on sign submit and it says I can't change anything again and ask me to print it
hi sir, sorry I did'nt understand when you said palmflit and the intent to marry. I dont think its included on the ds-160 form. But you dont need to sign the ds-160 or any of your penmanship signature. You just have to click submit , click send to your email, also click print.

Hi,. uhmmm yes you can have the photo. The sender or your fiance should have the photo taken from the photoshop and have the photoshop send a digital copy to your fiance's email address. In that way, it will be easier for your fiance to forward the photo to your email., Or the photoshop can send it directly to your email. ☺

Hi sis., submit ds-160 first then schedule for medical then schedule for interview., and if you have k2, yes you have to create a separate ds160 for each k2.

Hello maam., yes po , I think they limit the time which I’m not sure how much, but if you’re not moving for few minutes or theres a gap while filling out, it will automatically log out.
I had also tried it while filling out the form and recording the screen at the same time for my youtube video, it would always log out.
That’s why I suggest to have your answers ready before filling it out, and also save or click save each time you do each page .
But no worries because if you saved every page of the form you did, you could always get back to it next day or in a few hours I guess and continue 😊😊😊

Hi ! Did the NOA2 had an expirtation date? Ours says it is only good for July 4 but we havent received the welcome letter almost 3 months now.
Yes it does for 4 months. But if you pay the visa fees your NOA2 would be automatically extended for a year. Have patience and just wait for the welcome letter. In the meanwhile you just get the PCC and start arranging the interview materials. Once you see the case ready status, you may fill the DS-160 and the applicable fees. Two weeks before the interview get your medical done.
Hi sis., that’s normal na they will indicate the validity. The NVC letter and welcome letter will come later on and/or sooner. Just take time to check your status sa CEAC , baka kasi case “In-Transit” pa. But if case “READY” na yung nakalagay, dapat mag start ka na fill-out and send the DS-160 , so you could schedule for medical and interview. 2 weeks apart. Medical una sis., 🥰🥰🥰

Hi sis., the only time you submit DS-160 is right after you receive the welcome letter from NVC.
Also make sure that your case is in “Ready” status. Please check sa uscis egov sis.
After mag case ready, submit ka na ds160, then set schedule for medical then payment, then log in to CGI portal to set your schedule for the interview, then confirm then print confirmation page then payment.
After the case goes “ready” status, no need to wait for any reply or email from nvc. Tuloy ka na mag process sis, they are just waiting for your interview appearance.😊

It’s simple sis. If you’re using your phone, make sure you can also open your emails on it.
So when you get your pictures taken at the photo shop, you may need to request them for a digital copy to be sent to your email address.
From your email, you can now save the photos on your phone. From there, you can upload it during the ds160 application. 😊

once it says case "ready", proceed to sbmitting your DS-160, you can have your fiance do it for you in the US. it will be submitted electronically anyway.
thats the go signal for you to prepare forthe interview. There will be no other reply from them, and they will not contact you for that .
Proceed on scheduling for the medical and payment. then proceed on scheduling for the interview.
just make sure that the medical schedule or date goes first before the interview date. Two weeks apart.
always check fiance's email for the welcome letter. All the instructions for the interview scheduling and payment are stated on the welcome letter. Links are provided,.
then you can wait for the hard copy of welcome letter and I-129F thru mail to your home address. It will take few weeks to get to your address though. You can bring the said I-129F copy to your interview. ☺
My fiance forgot to save application ID while filling DS-160 form. What to do now?
Was she able to submit it after filling out the form? If yes, then she’s good. She just has to make sure to print the confirmation page sent to her email address. Or if she wasn’t able to submit it yet, I am not really sure how to retrieve, I’m sorry. Probably she may find informations how to retrieve it from google. 😊

Hi sis., sorry what do you mean po? Did you mean the filing fee for the petition (I-129F)? Or the visa before interview?
If it’s the visa itself, the fee would be around ₱18,500. That’s how much I paid before.
For the filing , I’m not so sure about it po, It’s my fiance who filed and I couldn’t remember how muchhe paid for it.

Hi sis., we can’t have the DS-160 without the passport. You will not be able to complete and submit the DS-160 without it . They will need the passport number or some information on the passport.,

Nope, I think you’re talking about NOA1.
Wait until your case is sent to the NVC. That’s a few months after NOA2.
Check your status on ceac and when your status says case “Ready”, that’s the time you submit DS-160. You will receive the appointment letter/welcome letter too after the case is ready. Expect the letter thru email, and thru mail to beneficiary’s address. All the instructions are there indicated for the interview. Start scheduling for medical and interview by that time too. 😊
Hi Sis, I have a question for you. Packet 4 listed 12 vaccines. The clinic where we are doing the medical told us, they only give two vaccines ( Covid and hepatitis B). Did your fiance take all the vaccines? We were trying to get everything required for AOS since it’s a little bit expensive in the US. What shall we do?

The only clinic accredited and accepted by the US Embassy is the St.Lukes Medical Extension clinic, especially for K1 visas.,
And I assume they give the same vaccines each applicant. I received 5 shots. (Mmr, tdap, hepb, varicella, influenza). But covid was not included since I had 4 covid shots already.

The packet 4 we received from the embassy mentioned 12 vaccines including Covid. However, the clinic we are assigned to do medical exams doesn’t give vaccines other than hepatitis B and Covid. I was wondering if you took all 15 CDC (including the 12 embassies) required vaccines to enter to US in the Philippines and brought a copy of your record and sent it with your AOS packet? If so, you weren’t required to do other vaccines here in the US and received the green card with no problem?

Yeap I brought my copy here in the US and included it for my AOS packet. And yes I was not required any additional vaccines, got my green card without prob about vaccinations.
Just curious if the medical clinic you were assigned to is accredited, because I assume they would have complied for all the requirements asked by the US Embassy for this particular visa (K1 visa).
Just curious who assigned you to that medical clinic,. wish I could ask someone where to get the right medical exams in your place for K1 visa.,

I heard these 15 vaccines are required for K1 visa AOS
(Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Polio, Tetanus, Diphtheria Toxoids and Pertussis (Tdap), Haemophilus influenzae type B (Hib), Hepatitis B, Varicella, Pneumococcal, Influenza, Covid-19 (two doses), Hepatitis A, Rotavirus
and Meningococcal disease) but you took

Hi sis., after having filled out and submitted the forms for a tourist visa application and approved by the USCIS, as you receive a letter stating that you are now eligible to schedule an interview and submit ds-160, you may now submit DS-160 then schedule for the visa interview online. ☺️

Hi sis, nope sis , do this ds-160 by the time your case status say “Ready” and that you have received the welcome letter as well. You have to do this prior to scheduling for your visa interview. 😊

Can she renew in Mexico or needs to go to Manila.
Hello., oh sorry, is she still in Mexico? Is she still wants to work there, her employer would probably help her with that matter. Because it’s an employment based visa. Needs an employer to get going. But if it expires and she doesn’t want to work there anymore, then she has to go back to the Philippines and apply for another job or visa. 😊
When you did the process-- Did they stop all K1 visa interviews? It seems Immigration is only taking work visas and student visas right now
@@tonymacii4142 hi po sir., the only time i know that they stopped all interviews was during pandemic or covid. They resumed and that’s when I scheduled my visa interview. I think all k1 applications are on going now. 😊

Wala tayong state sis. Kung anong nakalagay sa passport yun ang ilagay mo sa DS160 sis. Yung issuing authority.

Hi sis, it’s on the NOA 1 or NOA2 (or form I-797) , when the I-129F k1 visa petition was received by the USCIS. Above the beneficiary name. Receipt number which means they received the I-129F. 😊

hi sis,. that's good, just wait until your case goes "Ready" status. That's when they send you the Welcome letter saying you are now eligible to schedule an interview. That's the time you submit the Ds-160 also. They will send the welcome to the petitioner's email and a hard copy to the beneficiary's mailing address in the Philippines.

hi sis,. yeap definitely. If you have K2, you should provide separate DS-160 for each of them. They will have their own application number. ☺

Is it an appointment for your medical exam? Did you ask her what she meant about the case number? I was not asked during my medical exam. But probably it might be found in your welcome letter. 🙂

Hello sir., that’s great. So when you receive the NOA2 or 2nd notice of action from uscis, after few months the documents will be received by NVC and or Philippines Embassy, that’s the time your case status online would update to case “In-Transit” then case “READY”. Check your status online on uscis egov after having received the NOA2. When it shows case “ready” status , that’s the time you guys submit the filled out Ds160. 😊

Tingnan mo ilan ang storage sa pagka save ng photo mo sis kasi baka yan ang dahilan. Pwede mo yan e reduce sa computer. Or ipa reduce mo sa shop kung saan mo pina save ang photos. Or sa computer mo nalang gawin ang ds-160 mo sis, or ask help ka ni fiance kung madali lang sa computer niya pwede lang cya ang tumapos ng ds-160 to submit . 🙂

yes sis ang answer ko was NO kasi i was not going to the US for that reason under any organization. My reason was to come here as a fiance to marry my husband, thats why nag apply ako ng K1 visa. I am also a health worker, a nurse sa Pinas, and continue ko dito ang nursing career ko , but that is a different story na. Not related to the fiance visa sis. ☺

Hi., the fiancé petitioner should fill out the form , on the computer, then print the pages to have it signed. Then scan and send it to beneficiary’s email. Beneficiary prints the pages and bring it to the interview.
If petitioner still have the copies of I-134 during the first filing of the petition (together with form I-129F), he/she can use those copies and send it to beneficiary through email. 😊

Then submit ds-160, then schedule medical , print confirmation page and make payment . Then schedule interview, print confirmation and make payment.

The hard copy of the welcome letter sis matanggap mo yun mga few weeks dun mismo sa address mo sa pinas.
Yung I-134 affidavit of support, pa send ka lang ni petitioner ng copy ng I-134 noong nag file cya ng I-129F package for the petition, e print mo lang.
Or if hindi cya nag submit noon, pagawa ka sa kanya (with signature), ipa print mo lang at dalhin mo sa interview. 😊

please check your ceac account, tell your fiance to keep tracking or checking it. Because if the case status is "Ready", it means send your DS-160 then make an appointment for medical and interview. No need to wait for a reply. That's the go-signal to get ready with your interview. ☺
its on the NVC letter sis. All the instructions are stated for you to follow. Once your case status is "READY" , the NVC letter will also follow. Usually they will send it to fiance's email add.☺

pwede mag file dretso ng I29F after the annulment kahit married pa yung gamitin na apelyido at yung passport, kasi dapat mag match yung name natin sa passport name natin.
